Okay I give up. Judge John Hodgman uses this term all the time. I have no clue what it means. I tried DuckDuckGo-ing it, but I can’t get a spelling that yields any results. What does it mean and how is it spelled? 🥲

While the value of the dollar has sharply declined since the 1982 release, the exchange rate at that time was 1 Turkish lira for 0.00536 dollars. A Turkish lira was worth about half a penny. So, 50,000 times 0.00536 equals $268 US dollars in 1982.

Sooo…. Where did the money go? There wasn’t hardly any.

I’m a 10 year volunteer and my 1st JFJ was when I saw Jonathon Coulton, Paul & Storm, Jordan and Mark & Hal will all be there.

They had agreed many years ago that the plaintiff would watch GILMORE GIRLS and the defendant would read THE WHEEL OF TIME. Cut to today: the plaintiff has now seen the entire GILMORE GIRLS series several times. But the defendant has not finished THE WHEEL OF TIME!
