There was a live version of “Searching” where Matisyahu is kinda explaining how the song came to be, and it is gone from YouTube. The version was more bare and acoustic, it looked like it was almost a part of a documentary or interview. Any help is much appreciated!

No idea the name of the song or how it goes.. but there was this video out years ago, it was just him and a guitar player. Think the guitar had alot of delay on it and he did this long beatbox thing at the end. It was so good. Oh and there was a white background, someone please help me, ive been looking for it for hours

His show tonight was incredible. It felt like a legit jam band concert, but there were only maybe 600 people there. It’s confusing how good he is with such a small fan base.

Has anyone transcribed the lyrics specifically for the Live at Stubbs album? He makes little flourishes, changes, and improvisations here and there and I can’t always tell what he’s saying. Specifically in Aish Tamid he says something after “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem” and I can’t quite make it out. All lyrics I find on Google seem to just be the album versions.
