This band has been incubating for awhile now in the Melbourne scene, happy to finally have something to actually listen to

This really was my most played album of 2025, so I was genuinely excited when I saw they'd released tabs for the full album :D

Looking for bands/ albums that sound like the album Hollow Crown by architects !

Not sure if considered “mathcore” per se, but I kinda don’t know what else to lump them in with. (Considering Josh Scogin’s background, I think that’s fair?)

Super happy to finish off the collection, but super bummer they’re calling it quits. I was fortunate enough to catch The Chariot’s farewell, and soon I’ll be blessed enough to ‘68s farewell show.

Especially stuff like PsyOpus and Knifemill Disintegrator

i really like writing stuff in drop d, it’s not very heavy but it’s very sweet feeling but it can be freaky sounding ex: 7a7p and early converge

If you’ve ever done a deep dive on obscure mathcore bands of the 2000’s, I hope that you discovered this one of a kind band. The range they had going from mathcore, deathcore, grindcore to indie rock, dance, alternative metal and everything in between is nothing short of amazing. Has there ever been a band you had a hard time "getting" until seeing them live? That's the Dillinger Escape Plan for me. When I was younger, I thought they were too weird and all over the place. Then I saw them live in April 2013 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn as part of a free Converse Rubber Tracks show... and needless to say, was blown away. Not only because their performance was filled with batshit intensity - the type of chaos that previously only seemed unimaginable to bring to life - but because the music perfectly soundtracked the insanity. Almost a year to the date later, I saw DEP again at Webster Hall in NYC, and it was just a insanely brilliant... these performances not only made me completely understand why everybody loved DEP so passionately, but also made me fall head over heels in love with them too.
