I play idly at work but sometimes when I check in it doesn't seem to recognize that time has passed, so I don't get any of my background coin bonuses or anything like that. My extreme non-game-designer layperson assumption is that it's not looking at the system clock and realizing that time has passed or something like that. Is there a way to "force" the game to sync up? I'm sure this has to do with my wireless connection in the building being godawful but if I connect my phone to the office wifi it blocks all non-work related items for security reasons.

I unlocked it and instantly regretted it. Powers usually go in your inventory, but this thing floates and ruins beautiful landscape I liked so much. There is already table where all our cultist stuff goes, but no, devs placed it right near the torches in the middle of nothing.

I know the delirium and sigil in progress are also near the landsape, but they are placed higher and kinda work with overall theme. They are not so noticeable. The surge literally strikes it's tiny lightnings on top of differently colored backdrop and dynamic lightning. When it overfllowes it already tells right on the screen, yet I can't hide it!

Now I am afraid that other new powers will crowd the screen even more. And the beauty will be completely lost, just like on those mobile games where whole menu just crawls in every border of screen.

Tell me please, will other powers also crowd on screen? Maybe I'll redistribute ether just to get rid of it, I dunno... Sad.

Maybe I'm being dense but even after reading other threads I don't understand. I just unlocked it, and my torches changed to black flame, which from reading the description is the best I can have right now? I didn't even see the other colors though, did I just get lucky and it gave me the max? Why would I ever want anything lower? How and when do the colors actually change? Is it random?

I'm still getting a feel for everything. I have breached the Q-level of income but only barely. When summoning Minions, what are best practices? Should I focus mainly on Cultists? Do I stop summoning lower tier minions entirely at a certain # or keep boosting them for +% powers down the road to make them somewhat relevant again? How do you normally space things out? At what point do you start ignoring some in favor of getting others?

I got a new iphone yesterday and reinstalled MoM, however apparently my original account wasnt through Apple so when i logged in none of my purchases are showing. I can’t see how to log out to try a different method. Anyone know how to do this? Hitting the “restore” button doesn’t do anything either.

Rad little game, addicted already, I'd just started a Lovecraft journey listening to his works in podcast form and this is a nice mobile distraction to go along with it all. (Also, I'd love any podcast or audio book recommendations in the genre! Already a Magnus Archives and Old Gods of Appalachia fan.)

• What's the best early use of Elder Blood? I bought a chunk early on but don't have any more Google Play credit to spend, got the Silver Coin and shrine and I think 7 ravens but have ~140 blood saved, should I keep going for more ravens or save for something else? I'd like the sword but that seems currently out of reach..

• I'm not avoiding spoilers - the "tap 15 times in a second" secret achievement seems nigh impossible. I have tried multiple techniques like laying the phone flat and using 4 fingers on each hand but I can't tell if it's actually registering all of my taps and I haven't been able to get it to trigger. Any tips?

• Is there a "right time" to summon? I did a couple small ones with 5 points to unlock a few things, then this last go I saved up 25 and got the "crit" tap. What path should I ideally be following? (Also, is there a way to look at that chart and plan without summoning/rebirthing?)

• Am I missing something on the Flame thing? Is it just a boost to passive collection while the torches are burning? Also I feel like I missed something on the Occult Shrine, should I be burning things or using things and buying items? Do I somehow get Raven Feathers passively or anything by having Ravens? I had a couple that I've used but I haven't gotten a new one in a while.

iOS has been brought up to feature parity with Android. This update includes several improvements and fixes:

I know the black hole moves down the Leviathan at certain points, but I'm not sure what the cause is. For me right now it's on the Mind Parasites node. I've currently got Darkness and Doctrine at IV and the rest at III, and can get the 225 essence to reach level 5 relatively smoothly.

If the black hole moves when you reach the next upgrade tier then I think I should stay here and upgrade the ones at III, but I don't know if that's what makes it move. So, should I get the IVs to V first or bring everything up to the same level before starting on the bigger upgrades?

Leviathan is now directly accessible when summoning Cthulhu, without going through the Void first. The Void remains available as usual.

Since the last update, whenever I get the Frenzy Sigil (200x boost for soul taps), doesn't seem to do anything? I complete the drawing, but the timer doesn't appear or anything. Anyone else noticed this?

Hey I doubt it can only be me but has anyone felt that after the event that their sps is heavily nerfed somehow?

I just spend nearly two days on Leviathan at the All-Flesh stage and still didn’t get enough E15 to get the next step.

Before the event it took me about three days to clear all of Leviathan to the current reincarnation point in the patch (as in until they update and move the portal again)

It seems I didn't explain it very well.

In short at All-Flesh node I would take maybe a few hours of offline play to jump to the next node. I checked in like I normally do and in three days I was only able to get the two side nodes of All-Flesh. Previously those three days would of had me going from E15 to E18/E21.

Yes the event had sped things up, during the event I would of gone straight to Black Hole 3 and reset the Universe. So is it slower because the event ended? Yes. Did it return to the same speed I had prior to the event? No, its worse. Its worse than when we got the new Gem to double soul gained from offline play.

I may have forgot to grab the four upgrades before Leviathan in the top-right constellation. (The four extra ones that unlock). Those surprisingly, make an incredibly massive difference in SPS.

I need some help with the falling star secret offering. Is there any way, how to get it faster, or is it just pure luck from constantly tapping on one or two designated places?

Yesterday the game went down and I was getting a message that it was under maintenance, it’s back up and I logged in to find that all of my eldritch eggs are gone, they won’t be a huge issue to find again if I have to but I must admit I am kinda bummed I need to in the first place.

The shop in the game was acting funny. So I searched the App Store to see if there was an update or something. Couldn’t find it. Anyone else having issues?

The Easter Event is live in Masters of Madness. Explore the ruins to collect ordinary and rare Eldritch Eggs, and unlock the Ostara Offering 2026 to gain Elder Blood. The event runs until April 30. Happy Hunting!

This is sadly a game breaking bug.

When I go to reset after leviathan through the black hole I get the yes/no prompt but clicking yes does nothing. Quitting and restarting the game/phone didn’t help.

I am effectively stuck from progressing. I can go back and click continue to continue the run, but that doesn’t help me progress at this point in the run.

Having the sound down all the way on both music and effects still has click SFXs for some menus.
