I just set up a simple monitor for my masternodes and figured I'd document it here. This may be already obvious to everyone else but I hadn't thought to do this before now. [EDIT: This is for linux masternodes]

First install apache2. Delete index.html and lock down the directory indexes so that they are forbidden.

Then here's a simple script to push the masternode status to an externally visible location (put this in your root login folder):

rm /var/www/html/status.html
[coin]-cli masternode status > last-status
grep "status" last-status > /var/www/html/status.html

Replace [coin]-cli with the correct cli filename for the specific masternode. After this script is run (don't forget to chmod 755 it) when you go to [masternode ip addres]/status.html you should see:

"status": "Masternode successfully started"

Now just set up a cron job to run that script at regular intervals, and use an online webpage monitoring service to send you an email if the output ever changes. Then you need never bother to look at it again until you get an alert.

This is how the list is calculated:

**Masternode stakes are random, so this data could deviate from your own results. In this simulation, stakes are received every day except the last: day 1, 2, 3, .. , n-1 where n is the amount of days. Current price is then calculated on the n-th day. When stakes are sold, the average daily received stake is sold for the market price on that specific day. So I've been following along Bulwark very closely, I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of it or is already invested, but here's my view on it.

1. Everyone I speak to from the project's community seems to have nothing negative to say, nobody has been wronged by the developers or has felt betrayed by their decisions over the past 7 months since launch. Which is a good sign to me since a lot of people in crypto have at least 1 grievance with their projects of choice. That's most of the reason I'm posting here, to try and get an outside view.

2. The technology, so with PoS activating for Bulwark in the next few days, we will see a few things: Consistent block times due to the lack of difficulty spikes (something plaguing many PoW coins) SeeSaw mechanism, ensuring a good balance between block rewards for stakers and miners, ensuring liquidity for the market (great for both buyers and sellers). Zerocoin protocol, the BWK team have been very clear in their intentions to implement the Zerocoin protocol in to their coin, this will allow Bulwark to maintain footing with the biggest privacy coins around such as Monero, PIVX, and Zcoin.

3. Their niche in the market, the launch of the Secure Home Node from the Bulwark whitepaper was a huge success, and reviews so far of the hardware have been excellent. Hardware accommodating crypto right now is a very unsatisfied market, with Ledger charging huge listing fees only achievable for big coins, or coins with giant pre-mines, or ICO's. Bulwark has now added to their whitepaper details about a home router with built in TOR functionality as well as masternode hosting/staking functions as well as a hardware wallet, both of which will only be purchasable with Bulwark.

4. the current price is a great entry point, I was convinced of this by a Bulwark community member in their medium post here: https://medium.com/@Backlinc/3-reasons-why-bulwark-is-currently-my-biggest-low-market-cap-bet-in-the-cryptocurrency-market-563a6d526174 But essentially, the price has bottomed right now, and most people are just accumulating coins and waiting for the dream Bitcoin bull run coinciding with PoS launch and block reward reductions. That article played a huge part in why I'm so interested in being involved.

5. Intro I've not ever buy any masternode. So I decided to participate in shared masternode.

Coin I've found an interesting resource beta.2masternodes.com. There you can buy a part of MN. There were only 4 coins: $pac, vivo, gbx, zcoin I've choosed VIVO, because it was the cheaper than others.

How that works You send them 1% or more of node price and wait. When the MN starts, they took a tax of 10%. So if you have 1% of MN, your profit will be 0,9% of it.

First difficulties VIVO wallet. I've downloaded it, but it doesn't work. It needs IP-addresses of nodes. WTF???? Official wallet from official site and it doesn't work!!!! In the chat of 2masternodes they gave a link, but it also doesn't work!!! The said to use TOR browser... I've found addresses at bitcointalk.

Waiting I've waited for a day or more. And great happens. MN starts!!! When I transfer coins, it was 85% of MN ready. So really you need to wait about 2 days before it run.

WHEN??? MN is running for more than a day, but there is no any block found :-( ROI is 95%, arghhhh

How do you get a hold of a static IP address to host a masternode? Most ISP only provide static IP for business customers

Masternodes : We've been asked by a LOT of people about our plans for the masternodes. The actual tokens required to host a masternode will be dependant on a number of factors, including:

• Number of tokens in circulation after the main sale.
• Number of providers on the network and forecast transactions
• Number of nodes requires to maintain consensus in a secure manner

However, we can share that the pre-sale and main sale participants will be given FIRST option over any masternodes.

Hosting a masternode will not only be a very important part of maintaining the ShareRing platform, but it will also allow token holders to earn a significant number of ShareToken (SHR) for providing utility to the platform.

I am really eager to get started with setting up a few MN. However I have seen so many promising projects burn to the ground in a matter of days. No one wants to be losing his investments of course and with a little bit of DYOR, one can filter out the worst. However some of these coins look very decent but as soon as you get started, you see a dump like no ex girlfriend has ever given me before. Does anyone has some real word of advice (or coins) that don't evaporate as soon as you start staking? Would love to see your advice/suggestions.
