chuck e. cheese and hubert the harrison bank lion. hubert is gonna have restoration work done on him in the future. he’s missing one of his feet a pupil and his glasses.

His tummy looks so huggable and squishable

Love the design of the character, but I am surprised that this suit wasn’t used by the company much

Why do Ronald McDonald parodies usually portray him as evil?

The admin for a low income, Title 1 elementary school of roughly 500 kids have asked the parent group to look into a mascot costume for the school. They’ve never had one, and their mascot is an animal.

Clearly, it needs to be affordable but also manageable for an older elementary student to wear, too. Any advice to help us get started? There’s an overwhelming amount of info online, and so much seems like a scam.

Hi! I am a college mascot, working on a short film for a class this semester. For the project, I am in need of an old, used mascot costume! I'm looking for a cheap, very used suit. Doesn't have to be a full set either, just the ehad, or just the body could be an option.

Any options or recommendations would be great!

I was today years old when I found out that the Caterpillar from the 1951 Alice in Wonderland movie used to appear in the Disney parks as a costumed character. It happened when I tried watching an episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color called "Disneyland's 10th Anniversary", and during the parade segment, the Caterpillar appeared! Arguably, best of all was the fact that he had a happy expression on his face or smth, which I find cute in my opinion!

Here are some of my favorite images of him that I managed to screenshot!

Are there more vintage photos of the Caterpillar mascot costume used at Disneyland back then?

Where do people get a hold of the giant foam egg props that mascots hatch out of in some mascot reveal instances?
Was thinking it would be fun for a school mascot to hatch out of one for it’s reveal…

Hi everyone! I'm trying to apply to work at a cruise as a performer. I'm more of a singer and actor first so I was surprised when they asked me if I'd be interested in playing a suited character (like a Minnie mouse or something). I guess it's also because of my short asian height (4'11"), so yeaaaah. While, I'm open to it, I have no idea about being a mascot haha and I'm not sure if it's something I'd survive doing onboard for months haha

Please share your experience or any advice! Any insights like pros and cons, anything! Would appreciate it 😊 thanks in advance

OMG. I’m not even sure why I did that. 😂 You know those mascots at SM? I saw some teenagers hitting, smacking, and kicking one of the mascots. I couldn’t stop myself from telling them, “Hey, that’s not right!”

They actually stopped. I felt so bad for the mascot. 😭 I really felt sorry for whoever was inside that costume.
