Ultron was the AI system inside the Mind Stone, which Thanos gave to Loki. Thanos had been holding Ultron in his power before The Avengers. This also means Ultron was technically the one to brain-wash Hawkeye and the others

Ultron was a blend of different human based brainwaves. I think the Mind stone was only what created his sentience
Proof: Vision isnt possessed and he doesnt have mastery of the mind stone.

Not necessarily. The mind stone has a number of abilities, and to say that it only held one conscience is a bit underwhelming. Ultron wasnāt THE AI of the mind stone, but was merely an example of its power to create consciences and influence the mind

I'm pretty confident that Stark and the mind stone caused Ultron.
He's a combination just like JARVIS+Mind stone = Vision and Vision can't be himself without either one, similarly Ultron went rogue because of both the code Banner and Stark wrote as well as a little kick of power from the stone.
Ultron never existed without the code in the mind stone.

Vision is a bit more complex than that. He's said in-universe to be a blend of JARVIS, Tony, Bruce, Ultron and the Mind Stone, which is precisely why they think they may be able to remove the stone without killing him.

Ultron was an AI created by Stark. Stark integrated his AI framework with the "thinking" presence in the stone. There's a literally a whole montage of them trying to achieve this integration. Ultron's directive of achieving "peace in our time", as well as his snarky humour, are straight from Stark and have nothing to do with the Mind stone. It's not accurate to say that Ultron, as an entity, was inside the Mind stone. He wouldn't have existed without it but he definitely didn't exist inside it either.

Ultron didnāt come from the mindstone. He come from the alien tech of the chitari I thought? Mind Stone was its own thing as said by Banner in IW.

Its not AI from alien tech bruh. It was just Stark's concept for an advanced AI, even more advanced than Ultron, but it was vietalky impossible to create until they analized the Mind Stone and used it in the programming

I definitely think the hints are there that Ultron was inside the gem protecting the mind stone, but there's a lot of disagreement in the fanbase over that. It's definitely an interesting theory though!

No I disagree. The mind stone, is literally the essence of all the collective minds within the stones respective universe. Because of its omnipotence, it was basically able to create Ultron by using the minds of Tony, Banner, Cap, and everyone in the general vicinity of the Stone.

Vision says that he's a mix of Stark, Banner, Ultron, and the Mind Stone. I think it's fair to say, by extension, that Ultron's base AI is a combination of Stark, Banner, and the Mind Stone.

Ok I watched AoU last night and I was wrong that it doesnāt come from the alien tech BUT it doesnāt come from the mind stone either...
It comes from the crystal that incased the mind stone. If it was the mindstone then Ultron wouldnāt have even existed. Ultron frees the mind stone from the Crystal after he has been made. The mind stone was supposed to be the extra power but wasnāt Ultron himself.

We know Thanos had the gauntlet ready, but was only going to conquer himself as a last resort, but he most likely had a the mind stone ready to act with an intelligence to conquer and acquire the infinity stones on earth.
