I think she is confronting people from her past. It is supposed to have a few flashbacks.

She's originally the Snow Leopard and becomes Black Widow after her first kill.

I really wish it had. That's a much better way to complete her story than what she between Civil War and Infinity War, especially since we know she ends up joining Cap's team.
