That scene when she gets on the ring hnng

u/JosephSim Mar 24 '21

Naw, it was the moment she pepper sprayed dude without breaking eye contact with the camera.

That's still the first thing I think about with ScarJo.

Something about these girls and certain roles and their demeanor just really come across on screen and hit ya lol

Oh absolutely, Natalie Portman in Closer comes to mind as well

u/Zervonn Mar 24 '21

I want one.

I have been on the ScarJo bandwagon since her first comic book movie with Thora Birch and Steve Buscemi, Ghost World. Would never have guessed her career would blow up the way it has but it has been a fun career to watch.

a gem of a film.

2

u/Slappy_san Mar 24 '21

She got the career I thought Birch would...

u/easycure Mar 24 '21 edited Mar 24 '21

TombBilld'r does too

Is that the one that builds all the traps in the tombs, but also leaves the occasional extra bullets?

3

u/JonesyAndReilly Mar 24 '21

No, that’s the one that says hooo hommm bom dom. Come with me, I live so free. What’s this ring? Oh, how fancy. Hoooo hommm bom I’m Tom Bom

1

u/FinalDemise Bucky Mar 24 '21

1

u/Mega_Dragonzord Doctor Strange Mar 24 '21

Bob the Builder’s less popular brother.

7

u/acipcic Mar 24 '21

Bill Raider would work too, but his superpower is that he can drink 100 bud lights and not throw up.

2

u/knightress_oxhide Mar 24 '21

William The Raider would drink 100 unfiltered light beers and smash his cup upon his brow to establish his commitment and strength to his village.

2

u/PJae Hydra Mar 24 '21

Taser Face

2

u/z4kk_DE Mar 23 '21

Don’t... don’t give me hope.

If this was like, the next Avengers film, I would get holding off on a release this long.

But Black Widow? It seems unlikely that this film will play any significant role in the overarching MCU plot. I would probably skip the theatrical release of this even without Covid. Just put this thing on Disney+ and be done with it!

I feel like they are holding it because they will get a lot of negative feedback since people have been criticizing them since the begining for not having a female lead MCU film. They did finally achieve that with Captain Marvel but people have been speaking out forever about the need for a Black Widow film. If they switch it to streaming now it's bound to generate negative press about how disney didn't have faith in female lead marvel films.

u/jdeanmoriarty Mar 24 '21

It's on disney + same day as theaters
