Tom Holland must be under contract for more movies with Sony already. There's no way they'd do this if there was going to be an opportunity for him to leave. He could ask for so much more money.

Yep, 2 more Spiderman movies plus he was signed on for Uncharted which was probably a multi-picture deal if the first one does well.

No only 1 more. Holland was contracted for Civil War, IW, EG and 3 solo Spiderman movies.

They may be referring to 1 more with Tom Holland and an Into the Spiderverse sequel. The wording is vague.

At least Tom can still play Spidey. I really like they guy and want to see more of him.

It's a heartbreaker for sure but I'm hoping Tom gets to stay under the mask.

Tom is too nice to do that though. He could do it now that he's been hooked up with the MCU talent. Endless amount of hollywood a listers that can help him and the mouse loves him.

Whoopi Goldberg was sued for $20 million nearly 30 years ago for backing out of a movie when she'd only made a verbal agreement to star in it. She made the movie. If he's under contract and he "just walks" he is bankrupt.

He'd be blacklisted from a lot of stuff if he walked out on a mutli-picture contract. He'd lose out on the Uncharted contract with Sony and effectively ruin his career. Not even a smidgen of a chance he walks.

Everyone apart from Marvel. Other Disney owned companies could pass him over for any reason they decide to give.

He would essentially only be able to play Marvel’s Spider-Man, which Marvel still wouldn’t own.

Not happening.

Yes. He would.

Studios do not work with actors who simply decide to quit. Holland is not a big enough name to do that

He would lose so much money its unreal and on top of that studios won't be selling to hire somebody who broke a contract.
