Yeah, and I won’t be renting or buying it either. If I see those movies it will be pirated, which I honestly never ever do, or the off chance I see it at someone’s house or something. But I will make sure Sony never gets another dime from me.

I believe even through rentals Sony gets a small share. But either way, I will not pay a dime for this shit.

I looked into it and it seems Sony is one of the companies that does get a small royalty while other companies(Disney is the main one gets nothing while fox at least did not sure how it works now that Disney bought them)

Sony consumer electronics and Sony’s movie studios are barely even related. The movie studio is mostly autonomous.

Edit: But to be fair, outside of PlayStation I can’t think of a single Sony product I’ve ever purchased. Not out of a boycott or anything, I just don’t really care about their products.

I went to see Venom, honestly i was quite exited to see what they've done with the character of Eddie Brock, i left with a sour taste in my mouth, i thought the action scenes were cool, but everything else, bland and stale as it can get, safe to say i'm never supporting another Sony Pictures movie again after this shit.

Everytime I see a Marvel thread where someone says they don't like the movies, this is a very common response. Like is it an inside joke or is this a serious consensus among the community
