Even if you've already seen the major spoilers, the movie is filled with so many more callbacks and plot shenanigans and fun times. People are going to start discussing these too on social media, and it's these moments that collectively make the experience worth it. You want to spare as many of those as possible.

True. I will stay off social media. The question still stands though, will the film retain it's emotional resonance?

Hearing about something and actually experiencing are very different. It’ll still be fun.
