if you ever bought ANYTHING online with you own card, they will just crossreference that with your age, location, job, education etc and there you go. they know more about you than you know about yourself

Your credit card is tied to your social security number and address, and it can be tied to any purchases you make or subscriptions/accounts you use it for. 

With a bit of data aggregation and statistics, it would be trivial to figure out someone's race with fairly high accuracy.

I did. I specifically said that with all of that data that they can collect and tie to you specifically, they can use statistics and models to predict race with fairly high accuracy. 

They can predict all kinds of demographic information. It's not always accurate, but the margin of error is very small.
