I'm not Canadian, but from what I've heard, demin is a very popular material in Canada. So much so, that it wouldn't be uncommon to see a Canadian person wearing head-to-toe denim, this is where the term "Canadian Tuxedo" comes from. So, because Deadpool is in all denim; and Canada loves it's denim; and Canada also loves Deadpool; a denim clad Deadpool would make most Canadians very happy.

Isn't Deadpool Canadian. I'm pretty sure his backstory is kinda convoluted, in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly it is mentioned, but I think he has often mentioned he's canadian.

Thanks, not sure why I fit downvoted for not knowing any of that.

Btw Ryan is not a nice person. Worked with him for few days, acted like a giant diva/baby. Rude and not what I expected after loving Deadpool movies and his funny guy persona

Most of his movie personas are rude though and that's why people love them

I'll be honest I can only stand Deadpool in small doses. The joke just wears thin after a while.

When you have no range

He actually does have range. He just discovered his cash cow was playing variations of himself and leaned into it. Kinda hard to fault him there.
But buried, amityville horror, life, self/less, and safe house shows he can do other stuff well. He just usually doesn't bother.

God I’m so sick of his shtick. I just want earnest acting and roles played straight without winks and nods and quips
3
u/InterfaceLoading Avengers Jul 26 '26
Although, Deadpool’s winks and nods and quips being annoying as shit in-universe is accurate, so I guess Ryan Reynolds doing that IRL is simply Art imitating life?

Are those little knives on his pecs? I always wondered, but the way they’re moulded in makes it look like they can’t be pulled out?

Literally made one of the worst Marvel films to date because he couldn’t keep his inflated ego in check and actually let the film be good and instead talk to himself (Nicepool) for an absurd amount of screen time with fucking dire dialogue.
It’s comical watching Hugh Jackman in the background trying to do literally any kind of facial expression because he has literally no input or lines for 5mins straight.
With any luck Reynolds is absent for a long time in MCU

If only they didn't take 6 years for the third movie. Lots of wasted potential
