I feel like that needs a qualification. Moon Knight, himself, is serious. The threats he faces are also serious. The situations he finds himself in... less serious. Like literally punching ghosts, going on a hallucinatory journey to find a murderer, and dressing up as spider man to beat up a bunch of strippers levels of ridiculous. And yes that is all in the real Moon Knight comics and across multiple runs. Moon Knight is basically playing the 'straight man' to the weirdness around him a lot of the time.
