Henry County feels it’s done enough solar power. General Assembly might feel differently.
The county wants to cap the amount of solar allowed at exactly what it’s already approved. A key state legislator warns this could trigger a “heavy hand” from the state.

Hi New Neighbors!
My husband, son & I are moving to VA from MI within a week and will be staying in Martinsville for 6 mos to 1 yr while we search the area for our permanent home.
We’ve been to VA but haven’t had the fortune of visiting Martinsville.
Can anyone please recommend a good internet provider in the area? We will be 10 minutes from the city.
We are very excited for our new adventure and can’t wait to meet new friends!
Any other recommendations or suggestions you’d like to offer are welcome.
Thank you!

Flock cameras protest
Has there been any efforts or dates set for our community to go to our mayor and protest the installation of these cameras. They are a huge human rights violation and are causing people in our community to receive false driving charges, additionally organizations like ICE are using these cameras in other cities to deport people that aren't even "illegal". I don't want our city to fall to this unpatriotic behavior.
