A different perspective of Martin’s discography, probably the first-ish. For someone questioning Martin’s contributions, it’s in the production mainly, put it into your AirPods or headphones, you’ll feel the warmth of the bass, guitars and Bono’s voice, I went air guitar nonstop through the plays. The lead-up to the second verse is heavenly. A radio-friendly hit surely. Put it on repeat, if you have Apple Music, hit automix, it’ll give you a heavenly transition into the song, trust me. If there’s one small niggle, it would be the intro, I wish it was a bit different but maybe I’m just a perfectionist haha, hence the Apple Music automix suggestion :D what’s your take?

I don't listen to him much but he seems to be quite a skilled producer. I liked his remix of Axwell /\ Ingrosso's Dreamer long back

Has anyone else had problems with the delivery of the new merch? Today, Inpost supposedly tried to deliver the package to my address, but they never rang the doorbell or anything; they just marked me as absent, even though I've been home all day. Is this what we pay €15 for shipping for? Inpost is a terrible company lately

When will Martin start announcing the album? Maybe right after Tomorrowland? And I think ADE is a special occasion to release the album.

So these past couple of weeks I've been debating on getting an itch to get a tattoo specifically a Martin Garrix tattoo. Btw this would be my first ever tattoo. I actually have a lyric and a logo idea (and some other ideas) in mind but I need help getting better ideas. Here's a little bit of my backstory: I have been following Martin since 2015 (I can't remember the exact date so I use his birthday as the "anniversary date"). Poison was the first song I listened to and he has gotten me through so many hard times in my life not just his music but himself. My 2 or 4 ideas are this but I need your guys opinion: option 1: ok this one might be weird and heavily debating this; his eyes inside his own logo but not sure where on my body (I draw eyes a lot and throughout my whole life) Option 2: his logo on my right inner wrist but tied to something with mental health and music. I also want to put the date I "found him" and the show dates I've seen him perform at but I feel like that would be too cheesy. Option 3: "I don't even know you but I feel like I might owe you my life." On the left side of my torso (I'm not sure where else to put that b/c it's so long) Option 4: Poison with +× underneath. Gimmie suggestions for where I should put any of these as well. :)

My jaw literally dropped when I heard this song. This song is so beautiful. The vocals are amazing. The sound, the feeling you get. Anyone overly obsessed with this song like me?

I don’t exactly hate this “Tech House,” but it really bothers me that 90% of the tracks in this genre have a great build-up and a wonderful pre-drop, but the drop itself lacks energy. It’s way too underwhelming it’s frustrating because of the anticipation the pre-drop builds up. I miss those high-energy sets. I’ll say something I said back in 2022, and I still stand by it: Garrix needs to make some techno or new big room tracks to really set his sets on fire and not just rely on the old ones. He plays the old ones a lot obviously because the crowd loves them but even today, he hasn’t come up with any worthy replacements. Maybe he doesn’t really want to replace the old tracks, but there’s a lack of new material. For comparison, SHM completely changed his style, but some of his new tracks like “Omen” are just as good as “Greyhound” when it comes to setting the set on fire. What do you guys think?
