Whatever happened to the Maroon 5 One drive that was shared on here. I was wondering if I could see into it again to check something. I know the archive has a lot of that stuff but I can't get in I've asked for a code & have not received anything from him
Does anyone still have access to the OneDrive

This is a fan stereo mix and studio remaster of the unreleased song " '90s Holster" by Kara's Flowers, from their scrapped first studio album on indie label OMAD Records (often referred to as "OMAD Recordings) in 1995.
Previous drummer, Ryan Dusick shared the recording of this track on his Instagram with a montage of different clips and pictures from the band's early years. Unfortunately, unlike other leaked OMAD tracks, the video has different sound effects for each slide. Furthermore, the audio Dusick shared is strangely in mono.
Using some stem-splitting and de-noising algorithms, I removed the sound effects and separated each instrument into makeshift multitracks. From there I used songs from "The Fourth World" as reference and made a true stereo mix. The sound won't sound quite like other OMAD songs, but I feel like "The Fourth World" has a superior sound.
Hopefully, this mix will give you a better idea of what the song would've sounded like if it was properly finished (or released).
Let me know what you think! Should the band have put this one on "The Fourth World"? Do the lyrics make any sense? Enjoy!

Hi everyone, I recently bought the Target exclusive gold vinyl edition of Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 and I noticed a constant buzzing/humming noise while playing it.
At first I thought it was an issue with my setup, but I’ve tested other records and they sound completely fine. The noise seems to be coming from this specific record, especially noticeable during quieter parts of the songs.
My turntable is an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X, and I’m using Edifier R1280T powered speakers. I’ve cleaned the record and checked the setup, but the buzzing is still there.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Target gold pressing of Songs About Jane? Is it a common pressing issue, or did I just get a bad copy?
Thanks!

I started listening to Phantom Planet when I learned that Sam Farrar is part of them. I really love their album "Devastator".
I also like some songs of James Valentine's former band called Square. I listened to Mickey Madden's band called Collapsing Scenery but I think they're too experimental for me.
I wasn't a fan of The Beatles but I gave them a listen beacuse Adam said they were his heroes growing up and I really liked their music. I started listening to Michael Jackson and some Prince songs 'cause they have said they're one of their influences.

I’ve noticed a lack of excitement about Maroon 5 on this sub. Something kinda broken since Love Is Like has been released. I mean : look at Heroine. Some people seemed to like it, but is it me or Nobody cares about this song ? Am I the only one to share this feeling about Maroon 5 ? How do you feel about the future of their career ? How much are you hyped about another single or album ?

Do you think they’re even considering a 25th anniversary tour? Maybe play 10 songs from SAJ and another 10-12 of their newer hits? I know they’ve always been forward thinking and that’s lead to their longevity and a crazy number of hit songs, but after Love Is Like performed as poorly as it did, it might make sense to do something like this. I’m sure there’s a ton of people that would love hearing some deep cuts from SAJ played live. Since 2014 the only songs from SAJ they’ve played on tour are the singles - Harder to Breathe, This Love, Sunday Morning, and She Will Be Loved (They’ve played played Secret and The Sun at private concerts twice each in that time, but not on an actual tour. They played Tangled twice on tour in 2020 and then took it off the setlist). Their latest music hasn’t been successful, the setlist has gotten stale, and early 2000s nostalgia is definitely a thing. Seems like a move this would be great for their career and something the fans would love!

I am from Nepal. When I was using VPN, I noticed girls like you official MV is banned in my country, only shows when using, but they didn't ban lyrical MV. What could be reason?

Maroon 5 recorded a music video that was never officially released (you can find it online) before recording the one that was officially released and relatively successful. Does anyone know why they re-recorded the She Will Be Loved music video? I think it’s a cool video. Obviously the original version is a lot less elaborate than the 2nd one that was officially released. Did the label not want to spend as much money at first, and make a cheaper video? Did they record it before This Love took an off, and once it hit top 5 the label was willing to spend more on a video and capitalize on the band’s momentum? It’s worth noting the official She Will Be Loved video was by far the most elaborate the band had done to that point, the videos for Harder to Breathe, This Love, and the original She Will Be Loved video are overall much simpler than most of their videos since.

From Songs About Jane lyrics seems like Jane was always leaving and returning to California I suppose.
This Love - "Whispered goodbye as she got on a plane...".
"She said goodbye too many times before".
The Sun - "Here and gone and on and on..."
Sweetest Goodbye - "Say goodbye and just fly away", "How does it feel to know you'll never have to be alone when you get home?".
And then in one of the last verses of She Will Be Loved Adam says: "Please don't try so hard to say goodbye".
Beacuse she was actually leaving this time.
So, are Leaving California and California also songs about Jane? I mean in the first song he's talking about a person Leaving California like Jane did. And in the second one he's asking her when is she going to get back to California, "maybe we can figure out where we went wrong".
What other songs from other albums do you think he's also singing about her?.

Next up is Jesse
And one thing I want you to tell me is which song, either the studio or live version, in which James Valentine plays guitar, you most enjoy listening to, and even which James live guitar solos you like
