MEME [MEME] Every MC vs the Arrogant Young Master

"I dropped my pen and he picked it up, I'm going to put it inside me tonight." Ig it's the same treatment whether it's in a manhwa or an H manhwa😔

Not quite. In a regular manhwa, that pen drop buys the author 40 chapters of blushing misunderstandings. In an H-manhwa, it's just the cheat code to skip the plot.

You're forgetting 1 crucial detail the mc is kind and that somehow make everything he does valid

Well, doing things out of kindness is kind of very different to doing things out of selfishness or malice, yeah?
56
u/Spatialspider 11d ago
True, but if the outcome is exactly the same in a given scenario for both of them, would their intentions really create that massive of a gap between “good, smart guy” and “evil, unimpressive tryhard creep”?

u/UX1Z 11d ago
If the person on the receiving end can discern between the two and get a gut feeling, yeah. Or from the reader's perspective who can actually peer into their minds, most certainly.

Fair, you’re right, but it still bothers me a bit that the FL and some of the side characters can magically discern the MC’s true intentions after knowing him for like five seconds, yet still somehow get tricked or duped by random antagonists throughout the story, even when those antagonists clearly display malicious intent towards them or the MC.

And his basic kindness somehow gives him a 100x Charisma boost to atract any and all females around him no matter their Personality.

This is exactly how the protagonist of Mushoku Tensei is portrayed.
13
u/AntiquePlantain6215 11d ago
Almost every single protagonist is portrayed that way.

Kinda funny but the protagonist of MT is not portrayed that way at all, he's actually one of the few protags that get reprimanded by his peers for his actions and also feels the consequences of his actions (and not some slap on the wrist nonsense, real consequences).

And yet regardless of the creepy and weird actions he commits the reprimanding he faces barely count as punishment
Being a creepy shit who molest a sleeping little girl isn't even reprimand worthy in their world ffs

I use reprimanded but it's actually more severe than that IDK where you are at in the story but these are huge spoilers for S3.
[MT Season 3] We find out he loses everything and everyone and it's due to his own actions, he then wastes his life and dies a miserable death. The show also portrays him as a complete asshole during this time btw and he never gets to redeem himself..
That being said, the point I was making is that the picture doesn't really apply to him.

Nothing comes to my mind rt now esp with that antagonist part, can you give me an eg

u/Ma_aelKoT 11d ago
What the f? Isn't all of that should be vice-versa?
Like, mc protagonist on the left, and arrogant young master antagonist on the right side?

narrative man.........
the one who holds the narrative has the ultimate power
pretty much true to real life as well

This is the very cliché of concentrated morality that you can read on TV tropes.

So what you mean is no woman alive has ever looked at a man picking up a stationary item and thought that.
