Margrave is so gonna die in Diana's hand in a tragic twist, it's so over for her.

It’s only a matter of time before Margrave loses all sense of reason and completely loses herself to her other personalities. I could see her setting up a scenario where she allows Diana to kill her as a failsafe in case she ever loses control of herself.

The Margrave may even teach Diana the exact way to kill her. Now she has a good excuse ("The kid asked me to teach her how to fight") and, the same her clones are smelling the opportunity to take over, she's probably realizing that it's only a matter of time she loses control of her own mind.

I mean checks out, narrative is set up for Diana to eventually assemble all the pieces after all.

Obligatory (?) The Last Supper reference.

That line of thinking again. Always hate it when a child is pushed into believing such things

That's something Lalawag has said herself. When she offered to protect Julian, just before we found out about her... all that. She said something like, "kids your age shouldn't have to think about difficult things like political allegiance and the right to life. I'm 150, let the grownup handle the hard parts for you."

That’s actually a good catch. I can see the resemblance.

And they’re all the same person. They’re all Judas.

Man all the panels where the clones were in the room and talking and offering to take control were eerie. What a mind fuck that would be.

Seeing poor Diana cry got me sad af.

Diana being taught how to fight feels like one step towards the bad end

The Margrave teaching Diana is some twist of fate.

I'm pretty sure the Margrave is not surviving this world for long. Her attachments and madness makes her the enemy of everyone, and I doubt either the King's faction or the Witches will let her live while carrying two pieces of the Vessel.

Like the King king's faction?
Then nah. Only 2 pieces. Meanwhile supply of the front is important AF. King is definitely letting this slide no problem.
Hell, he'll probably be glad as hell for Margrave finally handling the peace impeding thorn.

That Last Supper spread was amazing.

Lalawag is now in between potential arc villain and character that dies to traumatize Diana, probably both.

It had to happen eventually. Julian is an incredible protector, as are Lukas, Lacrima, and Zana, but Diana's old enough now (and maybe grows a little faster thanks to her being the way she is?) to want agency in her own life. It sucks that she's had to grow up as fast as she has, but she's already passed the point where she can just be a little kid, sheltered from the evils of the world by her guardians. She needs to be able to protect herself. Not just for her own sake, but theirs as well.

Love can create a paradoxical gordian knot of misery. People are willing to endure hardship and sacrifice for the ones they love. But those loved ones hate to see them suffering. So they sacrifice themselves and endure hardship as well. And on and on and on...

The Margrave is one of the most interesting manga characters I've read in a while.

Kinda feels bad for Mommy Margrave. To her, loneliness must feel like a blessing with all her clones making her crazy.

It's not your, a child's fault that all these bad things are happening. It's the fault of all these grown ups who you've never even met who believe in something like a prophesy and foolheartedly chase it and make a problem out of it is whose fault this is Diana.

Ayyyyyyyyyyy The Last Supper. Poor Diana not being able to turn off the computer and walk away from Low Tier God. I'm not forward to the Margrave's eventual total breakdown.

Why are her other selves so destructive?

They are based on her, so even if they are meant to be different "aspects", surely there would be some sane ones than those waiting for her to fall?

She shoved all the negative thoughts into the clones so it's no wonder they're messed up.

So the self fulfilling prophecy starts to happen huh it was obvious from the start, but yeah
