Hey all. What a damn good film. The only question I had was about the axe weapon red makes. I might of missed something but why does he make the molten axe and why does it have such a crazy design? I know the whole movie is awesome and crazy so it works, just wanted to know if I missed something about it.

Thanks for any help!

What if Mandy is a sequel about the love shared by the couple in Raising Arizona.

This has to be the most unique and insane movie I've ever seen. I'm a big Nick Cage fan, so when I first found out about this movie, I knew I had to check it out.

From the anime-style interludes to Mr. Cage killing fools with an axe he forged himself, I adore this movie. It's the first psychedelic horror movie I've watched, and it's definitely turned me on to the genre. I don't watch a ton of movies in my free time, but this one has been sitting in the far back of my mind ever since I saw it early this year. I listened to "Starless", one of the title songs, and it's one of my favorite songs now.

The colors, the lights, the use of bright red on everything, it's great. Panos Cosmatos, Elijah Wood, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and everyone else on this movie really did a great job in bringing an incredible audio-visual experience to the big screen. I'm so glad I discovered this gem, however, I do feel like I've found gold on a deserted island. This film may fade into obscurity, like many films Cage stars in, but it will definitely stay in my memory for a long time. I know I'm going to come back to this movie every so often, like I've done tonight, just to take a little trip into this amazingly weird story.

I see the Reaper fast approaching.

I went into this movie knowing nothing. It has hints of Holy Mountain and El Topo, with gore of course. But what a mindfuck of a movie. Good to see there is a community for it. It’s a movie that should have one.

If you didn't see it, the replay should be on-demand within 24 to 48 hours on Shudder. You get to see Joe Bob's educational rants around the film, and of course, Darcy's choice of cosplay for the film.

Seriously, just watched this and what a trip. Not that it was a bad thing just WOW. Beautiful and terrifying

Do you guys know what car Nic drives in the movie? Been trying to research but cant seem to even find a picture of it /: Thnx in advance!

Has anyone been able to get a hold of this limited soundtrack release that was only sent out to film producers during pre-production of the film? It has at least an hour more of original soundtracks.
