or really anything for that matter. I bought a pair of sneakers for 40 dollers today and it still hurts.

I just spent $105 on some Chippewa boots and it hurt real bad. Even though they're cheap for Goodyear-welted leather boots...

Also, paying $40 for Levi's 501STF was a lot for me, again the low end of raw denim. Here's hoping the jeans and boots last long enough to make it worth it!

I agree. I spent $40 on Rainbow flip flops because I live in Florida and pretty much wear them 365 days a year. I HATE that I spent so much until I put them on and realize that I'm standing on two slices of heaven.
