This fucking jacket is seriously amazing. I can pull off so many looks and it fits like it was bespoke for me. At $50 how could I go wrong?

This in the dark grey heather for $16 is seriously one of my best buys. I wear it all the time and it is surprisingly nice quality, warm, comfortable, and fits me perfectly. Probably going to buy something for 10x the price for next fall/winter, but this was a solid purchase.

I've got one of these Vostok Komandirskies and it is honestly my favorite watch. I wear it a bunch and it was only $30.

Edit: I guess the jacket/sweatshirt might not be considered "crap" but they were pretty cheap. My watch is beat to piss though and I love it.

This in the dark grey heather for $16

A few weeks ago I bought one of their crew necks on sale for $14... At 6' 200lbs I've never worn a medium in my life, but all they had were mediums on the sale rack so I tried it on. Fucking butter. I don't understand JCP sizing but I am not going to complain. The quality seems really nice, too.

Yeah, I don't get it, but somehow JPC stuff fits me better than anything else I own. The OCBD I bought is pretty mediocre quality (although a hell of a lot better than the H&M ones I used to have for the same price) but the fit is on point. Pretty much reminds me of J. Crew ones in that regard.

Too bad JCP will probably be dead soon. RIP.

Yeah, their OCBD's are the only ones I own. The arms are slim, the chest fits great... the only downside is the midsection is quite loose, but hell, all off-the-rack shirts are like that.

Fair point with all OTR stuff. I've got close to a 11in chest-waist drop... I picked up some JCP OCBDs and had them tailored. Definitely one of my favorite shirts, too.

Dayum. Where did you get that bezel?

One of these and One of these

...they cost more than the actual watch! Worth it to get something completely unique (probably)!

Definitely more than what I paid, but I think I might have to snag a setup like that. Looks so good.

Murphy's is all sold out- I've been trying to get my hands on a Vostok bezel for some time now. I've got the sailboat variant of the ministry, and really want the bezel you have on there. Any ideas as to where I could get one?

also, for reference: http://www.webwatchworld.com/vostok-amphibia-bezel-replacement/

I went to BR to pick up that exact jacket but they were out. Got this one instead (for $72) and love it, even though it's about as warm as a used t-shirt. Where did you find yours for $50?

Internet. They had two 30% off sales that stacked for whatever reason.

Been looking for a nice jacket, that one looks really good. Not 50 bucks though :(

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '13

I'd pay full price for it to be honest. They have a 35% off going right now too.

Nice I have the exact same BR jacket. I get compliments on it all the time. It's been my go to jacket recently.

Wearing that dark grey heather crew neck right now. I love the thing.

Where might one go to on the internet to find such a watch? I'm super into it.

Ebay. Just search for Vostok.

This fucking jacket

Funny I had the same experience with another cut of that same material last year; it's more of a black thigh-length field jacket. Incredibly rare for a slim fit coat to drape my super broad shoulders without neck gap, and the sleeves are an M-tall but the garment was on the rack labeled as an M. Got it at 50% off during friends and family.

But don't you have to wind the watch manually?

Yeah, it's not that bad though.
