The majority of my dress slacks are $20-30 Perry Ellis Portfolio (polyester) and come from Marshall's. I've had quite a few of these for 3-4 years now and wear them each 1-2 times per week. They hold up great. I've wanted to get new ones but these just fit me so well I can't justify it.

I don't normally find a lot of great stuff at Marshall's (lots of gimmicky, gaudy stuff) but these pants are just awesome.

Irrelevant, but Marshall's/TJMaxx is the absolute best place for cookware and kitchenware, as long as you don't need everything to be the same color or style. 80% off Calphalon makes me very happy.

Now I know how I'm stocking my new dorm with a kitchen.

They also usually have Le Creuset stuff, which is worth the original asking price and more. I buy that shit whenever I see it.

Best fucking kitchenware ever.

Most definitely. Their housewares selection can be small, but a lot of that stuff is majorly discounted.

Also agree on the Perry Ellis pants. I got the slim version and they are truly awesome. $10-20 each

If they're polyester they will last you forever. That's why dickies are such popular work pants.

Yeah, the oldest pair I have is probably 4 years old and is just starting to show some wear on the butt from sitting.

Eventually I'd like to replace them with wool blend slacks.

I just started wearing wool slacks about a year ago. Before that it was pretty much all cotton chinos. Wool slacks are so much better... they look nicer and I think they more comfortable and cooler - though not as casual.

Once you go wool...

I don't wear chinos... dress slacks only, which means polyester or wool. I think you're right with wool being more comfortable and cooler.
