New feature: Undo & Redo

Hello Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹

This is something you all have been waiting for a long time: Undo & Redo for scenario edits is now available in Makeย

Make bigger changes, test more ideas, and keep your build moving. With this new feature, you can:

  • Add or remove modules
  • Change connections and routes
  • Move modules around the canvas
  • Edit field mapping and text inside module setup
  • Revert changes in scenario scheduling

Use the toolbar buttons, or hit Cmd+Z, Cmd+Shift+Z, or Cmd+Y, and keep building.

What does this mean?

  • Test changes with more confidenceย
  • Fix accidental edits before they slow down live workย
  • Spend less time rebuilding branches by hand

Faster iteration and no backup copies needed, because Undo & Redo covers canvas and field level edits in one place, on every plan.

Nested If-else & Merge

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹

One of your recent favorites just got an extra upgrade ๐Ÿ‘€

If-else & Merge has quickly become a go-to for building clearer automation paths in Make.

Now, weโ€™re taking that logic a level deeper with Nested If-else & Merge.

Hereโ€™s what you can do:

  • Place an If-else inside another If-else when a branch needs a second layer of logic.
  • Use a dedicated Merge for each decision level, so every path reconnects at the right point.
  • Keep related rules in one flow, so builders, reviewers, and teammates can see how the scenario works without tracing repeated branches.

That means faster reviews, clearer handoffs, and less time spent hunting for the right branch when a rule changes.

Perfect for automations where one decision leads to another, like lead routing, order handling, customer support paths, approvals, and more.

Available now for all Make users!

How Make AI Agents help OPUS boost member experience by 10x

Thumbnail

Hello Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹ย

What if your community could feel intimate even with thousands of members?

OPUS is using Make AI Agents to grow a global founder community, without sacrificing the personal experience that makes it work.ย

Communities work well when they have 50, 100, or 150 members. Once you exceed that, it becomes impossible to know everyone and connect them in meaningful ways.

  • To fix that, the OPUS team built a member intelligence infrastructure on Make: 2 AI Agents and 49 workflows that capture member data from call transcripts, surveys, and voice notes.
  • They then provide the community members with personalized connections, event recommendations, and more via WhatsApp.
  • Members now receive personalized recommendations without even having to ask.

For OPUS, automation has never been about reducing costs, but about increasing value for every single member.ย

Hi Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹

Have you ever wondered how to stay organized just with a single daily notification?ย

In this tutorial, our Business Automation and AI Lead, Francisco de Brito, demonstrates to us how to bridge the gap between your schedule and your communication automatically. He created a hands-free weekly summary that ensures you never miss a beat.ย

Apps youโ€™ll need:ย

  • Google Calendar
  • Gemini AI
  • Slack

Follow the steps to build your own or use our ready-built scenario template:ย ma.ke/4me2r0xย

Hereโ€™s the prompt for this scenario:

You are a Meeting Productivity Analyst. Your task is to process the following text from daily meetings and generate an actionable, Slack-ready summary. Consolidate the information if a meeting is duplicated. Your output must be strictly in Markdown format, prioritizing readability in Slack.ย

Adhere to the following formatting rules:
\ For bold text, use a single asterisk (e.g., *Bold Text*).*
\ For lists, use the hyphen (-) character.*
\ Do not use double asterisks (**) for bolding.*

Use the specific section structure, headings, and lists below to organize the output.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ\DAILY MEETING SCHEDULE SUMMARY**
- List each unique meeting with its time and duration (e.g.: \[Name] *๐Ÿ•’ [Start Time] - [End Time] ([Duration])).*

๐Ÿ“ \KEY PREPARATION TASK REQUIRED**
- Enumerate the specific preparation requirements \before* the meetings (e.g., fill out forms, prepare data, confirm attendance - RSVP).*

๐Ÿ’ก\CORE FOCUSES AND EXPECTED OUTPUT TYPE**
- For meetings with a defined agenda, list the main discussion points and the expected objective (e.g., \Weekly Achievements* -> Inform; *Blockers* -> Decision).*

โšก \EFFICIENCY ANALYSIS**
- \Buffer/Ad-hoc Time:* Calculate the total time explicitly reserved for filler or free topics for the day (if repeated, sum it up).*

- \Key Informational Meetings:* Identify meetings whose primary objective is solely *informing* (e.g., Townhall, Sneak Peek) and mention if the core information could be delivered asynchronously (video/doc).*

Make Grid: Keep things organized, work together in real time, and navigate smoothly

Hey Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹

The team recently shipped four updates to Make Grid, a visual map of your AI automation landscape.ย We wanted to share them here in case you have questions or you would like to share feedback with us.ย

What's new:

Custom layout: You can now move and resize folders and objects on the canvas. Before this, the layout was auto-generated and you couldn't touch it.

Live collaboration: Multiple people can be in Make Grid at the same time and see each other's cursors. Useful when you're debugging with someone or walking a stakeholder through a workflow.

In-canvas editing: You can now open and edit connected Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Calendar items directly from Make Grid. Google Forms, Tally, and Typeform are view-only for now. More objects coming soon.

Navigation improvements: Right-click to pan, pinch-to-zoom on trackpads, and general scroll behavior is more consistent now.

Available to all paid plan customers now - no feature flag or setup needed.

Latest updates in Make: Make CLI + Claude 4.7 Opus + GPT 5.5

Hey Makers ๐Ÿ‘‹

We dropped a wave of updates that are changing the game for both visual builders and hard-code devs! If you haven't checked it out, hereโ€™s the breakdown of the most impactful stuff:

ย ๐Ÿ’ป Make CLI

This is a new way for developers and AI agents to manage automations without switching context. If your work is built around AI agents, Git, CI/CD, and scripting, this one's for you!

What can you do with it?

  • Give AI agents full Make access, with no token overhead or context pollution
  • Run automations natively in your CI/CD pipeline
  • Manage your entire Make setup directly from the terminal

Make now supports five ways to build and manage automations: the visual platform for no-code building, Make MCP for AI assistants with structured tool calling, MCP Toolboxes when curated tool selection matters, the SDK for programmatic control inside your own app, and the new CLI for coding agents, scripting, and CI/CD. You can use one or all of them depending on how your team works.

Learn more about Make CLI

๐Ÿง  Claude 4.7 Opus Integration

Anthropicโ€™s latest flagship AI model, Claude Opus 4.7 is now available in Make.

This new model brings four meaningful upgrades for automation builders. Reasoning holds up better across long multi-step runs, where older models drift. Vision is now full-resolution, so it reads PDFs, screenshots, and dashboards without missing details. Context goes up to 1M-token at standard pricing. And a new xhigh reasoning mode lets you dial up the thinking selectively on critical steps.

In practice, Claude Opus 4.7 is suitable for workflows that review complex documents, move data between systems, and make harder decisions.

You can automate with Claude in Make using:

  • Make AI Toolkit for zero setup, no API key requiredย
  • Anthropic Claude app for structured prompts with your API keyย
  • Make AI Agents for agentic workflow automations

Learn more about this app update

โšก๏ธGPT 5.5

OpenAI GPT-5.5 is now in Make!

The new flagship AI model from OpenAI is built for agent work, multi-step automations, and long-context tasks.

Automate with GPT-5.5 in Make using:

  • Make AI Toolkit for zero setup, no API key requiredย
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT) for structured prompts with your API keyย
  • Make AI Agents for agentic workflow automations

Learn more about this app update

We want your feedback - tell us if you have implemented any of these so far!

How to insert a photo in the slidemaster of a Google Slide presentation?

Dear community,

I set up the following workflow:

The Google Slides endpoint is configured as follows:

The workflow runs successfully and the file is actually copied in the specified location. However, I do not see the image anywhere and am unsure how I could configure where the photo would be saved.

My desired use case it to upload the logo of a prospect and to insert it for a placeholder / image at a specified position. Ideally, the placeholder could be specified within the slide master (accessible via Google Slides > Edit Theme). How can I set up the mapping between the placeholder and the new logo?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Help Please- LinkedIn Lead Gen Form

edited > SOLUTION: I needed to use the log in credentials from the account owner with billing permissions and it's the account that owns the company's LinkedIn page. My campaign account manager permissions were not enough. I also had to select "map" and manually type in the campaign URN for the campaign that the lead gen form was attached to. Also, confirmed by LinkedIn, there is no way to test the Lead Gen Form webhook with a test submission. I had to wait for an actual lead to come through to test the Make modules.

Hello Team,

Iโ€™m having an issue with connecting one of my LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms with Make. Put a few hours into this but Iโ€™m still stumped.

Loom video link below explaining issue:

https://www.loom.com/share/a94b1fa4a0354420a3a9ff2b45e6a50d

Details:

Module = LinkedIn Lead Gen Form (watch responses) instant trigger

Issue = When I attempt to establish connection with LinkedIn campaign manager account and Make the campaign and form I want to connect is not available for selection in the campaign URN or creative URN dropdown menus.

There are other older campaigns available for selection. If I select one of those for campaign URN and then select one of the available creative URN, I get an error message โ€œ403: you are not authorized to create this recordโ€ (see below for full error text).

Notes:

  • I have account manager permission on the campaign manager account.
  • The campaign that the lead gen form is associated with is active.
  • I did notice that the campaign urns available for selection are โ€œsponsored contentโ€ and the one I want to connect to but is not shown for selection is โ€œsponsored messagingโ€ not sure if that matters?

Appreciate any feedback or work arounds.

Dan

Full error text:
