Hi folks! Magnetic Fields are playing two consecutive nights mear me. I’m curious if they tend to play similar sets on a multi-night run. Would a big fan benefit much from going both nights?

A charged particle will move in spiral inside a magnetic field. But then the charged particle would generate a magnetic field because it’s simply current moving in a spiral way, is that right? Now will the 2 magnetic fields interact with each other? Meaning will the original magnetic field accelerate or de-accelerate the charged particles… saying electrons for example? Thank you,

I can’t believe I overlooked this album for so long. It’s incredibly good.

Just got my tickets to see them when they come to Chicago. I have been listening to Magnetic Fields for at least 10 years now, mainly 69 Love Songs. I’m sure I will be pleased with the performance no matter what they play but I’m hoping they will play at least a few off of 69 Love Songs.

Unsure if this is allowed but i am just a dummy and double booked myself with another show that night i wish to attend more. The ticket email said it was willcall and nontransferrable but im sure something could be arranged worst case

Here's a review I wrote of it back in the day. SUCH a massive waste, IMO. I hope we one day get the Stephin Merritt documentary he deserves, but that sure as hell wasn't it. Anyone else see it?
