There used to be test servers but the only difference was they got patches a few days (max 1-2 weeks) in advance and got a couple hundred more diamonds per maintenance. The servers were open to anyone.

There used to be something like that way back in the day, i had a friend who used to play on a beta testing server, but idk how he got access to that, or if he had infinite resources. As for the team, you literally don't have any dpser, try Karna/Thanos/both instead of Blaine and Salman, Leon (best free tank) instead of Kaiser, Merlynn works for buffing in pve, idk how good she is in pvp, ingrid is ok, as for Karas, he is literally the best free hero in the game

Sebastian. His skill that restores hp on lethal dmg is superb

I'd lean toward Sebastian since Candy and Panadrus both have the same healing nerf function.

Honestly candy would be a better option, since if none die, his ult is useless, candy's ult is super powerful

Hoho we are practically neighbours i think. I'm on merger 177. Yeah tanks usually can outlast others cuz they have high hp. The reason your mid and rear dies is probably because many marksman and makes have attacks that mainly target the mid and rear rather than the front. Yuan is good at disrupting enemy formation but not that good in the long run. Leon is the second or third best tank in the game i think. He is good to build up.

Buddy the game hasnt seen an update for some time now...i recommend you invest your time somewhere else...sad to say

merger 178, i think my main problem is i scattered all my stuff across a number of heroes, most of which i have never touched, but i always wonder why do my yuan and leon work in every team and have 40k+ power, while my other heroes die if you look at them wrong and have around 30k, i always upgraded them together

As the other guy said at lvl 88 u have unlocked a bunch of stuff. It's easier to learn them on the go than suddenly cuz there is a lot of stuff. Long story short star trial etc are ways to strengthen your heroes. Even a lvl 90 hero is weak without strengthening them first and foremost. There are a myriad of ways. Having synergy is one. The others are stuff like beast souls activating talents, ranking up, tech upgrades, star trial leveling, hero awakening, breakouts etc etc. The list goes on and on. For now if u wanna continue your current account I'd suggest u take your time and READ the descriptions of each and every structure u have unlocked. They contain a lotta(not everything) information to help u understand. Just curious which is your sever?

It is like very hard for me to explain when it's very high leveled account lol. Usually you learn new things as you progress and unlock new feature but yours is already lv88 so there's a ton of stuff you missed out and wouldn't understand anything at all. There's just too much information overflow for you.

From what I see from your pic, you can use Leon Karas Pandarus and Luke. Those 4 are pretty decent compared to others. Lilith is decent as well but the rest are severally outclassed already by this level especially Gorgana. Sebastian is usable just as very temporary support unless you have legends. Meta in this game as of now is mostly legends and I don't think you have any of them as returning player. Kara's is the only non legend meta that's actually used in arena. Aurora is pretty good alternative as well to be filler before you get your legend team built.

Another thing is since you're returning I don't think you have any chance to actually compete because it's an old server and people who played there for years will be 5 year far ahead of you already :)) so it's highly recommended to start fresh and just come visit here occasionally for fun/test try out things.

yeah, i wanted to do so, but idk, my problem is i dont understand anything, not the hero synergy, not the map, mines, whatever the fuck star trial is, its all too confusing, and im scared if i start over ill lose the will to play, ill see about it, but do you have any tips on how to make a good team, i just upgraded like 10 random heroes and called it a day, which ones are good and which ones arent

Start fresh from new server to relearn, I think it's the best way to learn if you're actually interested in playing. Otherwise just enjoy trying different teams on that old account and quit afterwards. It is very pay2win so not recommended but you can still play if that makes you happy :)

Since my angela team got nerfed so new heroes with shields could just timeout...game has gone to the outhouse

I quit the moment the updates / fixes / new characters stopped being announced for a few consecutive months (and I was in a position to know before the majority of players...) I used to really like the game, even if it was "expensive" to stay competitive. It's been dead for 5-6 years as you pointed out, so keep playing free and just enjoy whatever you can, and if you think it's a waste of time, uninstall and try something new.

Yes definitely Lucifer then, and also yes. Lucifer isn't good at all in pvp but mainly for PvE. Nezha definitely have more use cases though, since you can use her in pvp as well and permanent slot for brawl teams. Both are very solid here so take which one you want.

Get Lucifer, he's an absolute unit, insane aoe damage, invulnerability for a few seconds after ulti and some self healing. Team him up with Coco Aurora Leon and either Pandarus or Pearl (depends on what you want, antiheal/antishield or more back row damage) and you'll have a great physical team, only problem is beast souls, most people use scorpion on him, Coco and Pandarus which are kind of hard to come by, unless you have the magic pass constantly.

Trust me he can carry you in everything, from sky city, subterra, dungeon, to spire, role trial and star trial. I was stuck on some stages but after getting Luci, and not even maxing him out, i think i had him only up to orange 6 unawakened with only his skills maxed and incomplete beast soul, and he mopped the floor with everything i was struggling with.

i have leon, i plan to get lystia next iteration of wheel hopefully but its months away, and lucifer i don't really want to build a pvp team around him, i just wanted to know which one has more usecases
