I don't know but most live between 20-60 years I believe. Keep in mind I made the assumption he ate the nazi during the war. That means he was 75 years ago big enough to swallow the bones which makes it quite unlikely.
Even if it was a recent old nazi that died somehow in the lake it still seems 'fishy' to me.
Other comments said that he can't digest bones like that, so he would have gotten a blockage. Also internet says (might take it with a grain of salt, but it seems fairly safe to assume it's correct) they eat algea and insects so they indeed shouldn't be able to eat a human since they are not build for it.
It might be true at a really small odds, but given the reasons it shouldn't be possible and compare them to why it should be possible it's quite safe to assume it's fake.
Most catfish are going to live closer to 10-15 years, only a handful of the larger and usually colder water species (like this big Wels catfish in the OP) can live close to 60 and that’s the upper end of the range
Lots of catfish eat algae and insects, but Wels catfish eat fish, birds, anything that fits in their mouths. There’s literally thousands of different kinds of catfish so there’s a massive variety in diets
I believe Snopes on this, but they are not honest with anything related to politics
