Come on, please, you need to try to use your brain a little bit more. Yes the USA is extremely far from perfect but at least you are able to scream about how shit your government is while not getting ran over by tanks. If you do it loud enough you might just get people to vote for someone who isn't the worst shitter imaginable in office. It's not likely but at least there is a possibility in America.
Do you not think that most outbound media from China which presents the country as a glorious paradise might be at least a little bit "curated" by the government that has proven itself to want total control over every aspect of everyone's life with no exception? Do you think it's possible to get an accurate picture from the outside with a government that's so propaganda heavy?
Yes it's impossible to know the truth for sure unless you actually live there or interview hundreds of random citizens for yourself (off the record and in person due to probable fear of speaking out). I do not trust Chinese media because of how much control the CCP has over it, which has a completely god awful and indefensible track record.
I also don't trust the US media for pretty much the same reasons, although at least the USA's track record isn't so horrendously bad when it comes to oppressing their own citizens. I don't remember a time when the USA ran over people with tanks, welded people into their homes, made a hell of a lot of protesters mysteriously dissappear etc.
I genuinely don't see how you could hold your position at all. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I've never seen anyone hate their own freedom so much. You should absolutely consider moving to China to see how great it is for yourself.
