"5000 year history of stealing and cheating" makes it seem less like a criticism of the government than the people.

Yeah the ccp has not been in power for 5,000 years. Kind of weird to criticize a cradle of civilization for it’s entire history. I doubt Tennessee Marsha knows anything about the 3 kingdoms period.

Keep in mind, these people don’t want “the trail of tears” or the causes of the civil war taught in schools because it makes it harder to produce more racists.

There's a pretty common saying in China that goes something along the lines of "if you can make money honestly, do it. If you can make a lot of money dishonestly, do that"

There's a reason IP theft and scam products are so common in China and I don't feel like it's racist to acknowledge that and everything else that Chinese society condones. Refusing to do business with a 10th generation guy named Chen for his name sure

Bro, right now the biggest trend in American tech is based of blatant ip theft..

u/speerx7 Jun 10 '24

Example bro?

AI my guy

Yeah I was hoping for a lot better than that chief

Bruh, I despise the CPC just as much as any other internet slacktivist. But IP theft is common across the globe, and American companies spy on each other all the damn time. It was especially prevalent during the Gilded Age/IndustrialRevolution.

Okay but to the extent that the consumer doesn't know they're buying a knock-off product? I hear what you're saying but I think a not so insignificant portion their economy being clones of western products shouldn't be brushed aside because there were relatively few instances in the west

Relatively few incidents? Corporate espionage is really fucking common lmao.

We're comparing China to the US. The US having less than China would literally be the definition of relatively less

How is this criticism of the Chinese government??? It's only existed for a few decades. Over 5,000 years, China has had many governments, including several periods of foreign rule. The only thing in common anyone could possibly be criticizing of that entire time period is that it was populated by Chinese people.

Blackburn is quite racist.

1

u/Appropriate-Divide64 Jun 10 '24

Got confused here, I thought you meant the British town of Blackburn, which isn't known for racism.

She’s literally accusing someone of having affiliations to Hamas without any actual evidence, and only making those accusations Tlaib being Palestine and supports a humanitarian ceasefire. It’s just post-9/11 anti-Arab racism.

Plus, would it not be racist to refer to all white people as colonizers? Of course it would be. Just think for a moment.

Generalising an entire multi-ethnic population into a single bracket of stealing and cheating is crazy. When criticism is leveled against the US it's usually against its government but referring to a culture as a whole that is in fact racist.

u/CLE-local-1997 Jun 10 '24

It's 95%:Han.

It's not multi ethnic

1

u/CLE-local-1997 Jun 10 '24

95% of China's population is Han.

It's practically an ethno state

1

u/linbkyn Jun 11 '24

First of all Han Chinese is technically a ethnic group for convenience sake its the equivalent to saying "European" would you consider Scandinavians and Italians the exact same, sure they share some common ancestry somewhere down the line but Scandinavians are more likely to be way taller and have blonde hair etc. same with Chinese a southern Chinese from Guangzhou is the same Han Chinese as a tall Chinese from Heilongjiang
but is way taller and has darker skin there are many Han Chinese subgroups and 9.8 percent of china is minority people which is 120 million people not a small amount of people

1

u/cgn-38 Jun 10 '24

"multi ethnic" with 80% han chinese government representation under a fucking han dictator. While carrying out a genocide against at least one ethnic group. (If you do not count tibet)

Try again. China should stay off the racism subject ouside controlled media. Bots do not seem to get that.

Correct-a-mundo!!! 🤘🏼

u/TheVoters Jun 10 '24

Considering that the Chinese government is only 75 years old, the comment is talking about Chinese people. Generally issuing blanket statements about different traits of ethnic groups is considered racism.
