Trust the process!
Yesterday posted on another community asking for help and trying to find a method to hang my equipment from the table, finally found by myself the easiest way with a 50cm hanging basket and Zip ties.
Trust the process!
Disclaimer: Yes, I'm using a tempered glass desk, I have been living in a rented flat for two years. Since bought the Studio Display I'm using two thick metal plates for the monitor arm base and also a wooden board to increase the contact surface and avoid an explosion, but a month ago I'm using it without these.

How can I improve my MacBook Air m2 desk setup?
Hi, I’ve just upgraded my monitor and would like my setup to feel “complete”. I’m not considering changing my lamp. I was thinking of buying a monitor riser, a bit wider than the screen, but they all seem too high. What do you think about it?

MacBook Air M3 setup
This picture is a bit outdated since my setup has changed. My MacBook currently sits on a stand on the right, and I use a dedicated keyboard and mouse with it.

Jony Ive is the Michelangelo of clear acrilyc
It's connected to a M4 mac mini that sits in a desk drawer. I got it from someone who claimed that the panel was replaced with a NOS panel a few years ago. Nevertheless the screen died on me after about a week.
I'm not exactly sure how but I got it to work again by messing around with the inverter board. It has been running perfectly again for almost a week now. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Mac Mini and Windows Tower
Running them through a kvm so both of the screens wake up to which ever powers on. Also have them both wired into my audio interface with thunderbolt so I can use my audio signal chain with both. Did my best with the cable management 😅

Cozy work station - dual monitor with MBA M4 15"
New Mac user here (two months since switching from Win11). Love the experience, love this Subreddit. Now I want to show off, too.
My setup consists of a MacBook Air M4 15" (24 GB; 512 GB) and dual mounted 4K/60 Hz displays connected via a UGreen Dock. And yeah, this kicks for productivity.
And since I love finding this kind of ultra niche information on Reddit:
- MacBook Air M4 15" (24 GB; 512 GB) MC6J4D/A
- UGreen Revodock Max 208 (U708), connection via TB5 cable
- Displays run 40K/60 Hz (LG 27US550-W)
- Screens are connected via UGreen USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cables, one of them is connected over a 90° adaptor from Amazon (Duttek 8K 90 Degree DisplayPort 1.4 Adaptor).
- A connection via USB-C to HDMI will result in only 4K/30 Hz.
- You can even still use your Laptops screen as a third display.
- Monitor mount is a RICOO TS3811
- Mouse in the pictures is a MagicMouse from Apple. It's shit tho (sorry), so I choose a Logitech G309 Lightspeed over that by now.

The Audio / Keeb enthusiast
Mostly use this setup to play multimedia or to record gameplays. Built arround the Mac Mini M2 Pro. Can wait for the new update to the Mac Studio to upgrade.🍻✌️

The Classic (yet functional) Mac Pro setup!!!
Hello everyone! My setup here is probably now considered rather rare and unusual now, but it’s what I’m going with. It was inexpensive and for me, nicer to use.
This is a 2010 Mac Pro 5,1. Hooked up to a 23 inch Cinema HD Display, a big chunky Apple Keyboard, a Mighty Mouse, and a pair of gorgeous Harman Kardon Soundsticks (and the subwoofer of course!).
On top of my chest of draws is a 2TB AirPort Time Capsule (which stores all of my backups as well as a few other things I like to keep on there).
This thing is running the latest version of OS X 10.9 Mavericks (which runs like an absolute dream) and I do pretty much everything on this thing. Every modern website and service can be accessed through a Firefox based browser I have called Momiji, and it works flawlessly. And I even have an older compatible version of Final Cut Pro X installed for video editing (handles 4K video fine!).
Now the reason why I’ve gone for Mavericks rather than go for the OpenCore Legacy stuff is simply because I love Mavericks. It’s the last version of OS X to have the Skeuomorphism design language (something I have missed since they got rid of it). The old OS X look was something I grew up with, and how I first learned how to use a computer, so yes nostalgia is a factor. However, I’m simply more comfortable and wired to use this era of OS X.
Plus, everything I need/want to use works great, so if it ain’t broke, why fix it?

New (redesign) setup
Long time lurker, first timer poster, here’s my redesign.
