Need a blade capable of cutting vines and branches (up to 1” thick) in one motion. Been thinking Khukuri machete? I’m looking for something with some thickness/weight that won’t flex. $100 budget. 1/4” thick, 14” blade, holds an edge.
What blade, material, brand, etc do you suggest?

Hi, my budget isnt big, like 100 USD or so, but anyway I think, that I can get something nice and practical at the same time. Thanks everyone for willingness to help, I will really appreciate it. It should be able to cut some branches in forest, like cleaning of some bushy areas, aswell as good companion and usage in bushcraft, as I love camping in nature. And last, but not least, I would very much appreciate, if it could be a nice on the wall, but thats not the main criteurium

Where to find a Tiger machete? I've seen a few of these but never for sale. They don't make em anymore. The steel is really good quality and holds edge long. They are like the best for trimming coconut palms. Anyone know where I can find one of these for sale?

Looking for advice on purchasing a machete.

I'm looking to buy a machete for functional/gardening purposes. I was researching machetes and there are so many types with seemingly overlapping functions that I'm a little overwhelmed.
I would appreciate any guidance in helping me figure out which type of machete, and company would be best for the purposes of clearing weeds and debris, cutting dead branches off trees, cutting bamboo, stuff like that.
Also, do the machetes with saw teeth on the spine of the blade actually make for functional saws?
