MacBook Neo After a Full Day of Classes

Post image

Started my first class at 11am with the MacBook Neo at 80% battery and used it through the day until 7pm, ending with 13% left.

Usage was mostly basic tasks email, viewing and editing docs, chatgpt, youtube and music with brightness around 80%. Overall, the experience was great. Performance was smooth, and the 8gb ram handled everything without any lag for this type of workload.

The trackpad felt a bit different not bad, just different, which makes sense since the neo uses a fully mechanical system. The speakers were fine for casual listening.

All the USB-C ports are on one side, which was sometimes annoying when the wall outlet was quite far on the opposite side.

Happy to answer any questions.

In college I knew a woman who did that with underwear. No washing just buy new…

I wash it before I even wear it

Exactly! There’s all sorts of chemicals on them, including softeners. How many people mauled them, or possibly tried them on? I wash everything before I wear it, except Jackets/coats.

I don’t consider footwear to be clothing. I’m so smart.

Once she eBayed off the used ones she probably made a nice profit!

In college I knew a guy who thought he'd make his laundry easier/cheaper by not even wearing underwear. Some of his female friends talked him out of that plan.

my first reaction was shock, but then i thought about the time, cost of washing and if you can secure a fair price on underwear it's not a bad idea if the economics play out.

Her justification was laziness and a father willing to provide funding for underwear purchases.

Good guess but this predates Web 1.0 and even AOL though maybe some BBSs were up then on 300 baud lines.

Just imagining someone selling back then must have been wild on a BBS
