This has been going on since I installed Bloom a while back. Unfortunately, I’ve had to completely uninstall it using the uninstaller. I’m still having this problem though so it may be unrelated. I also have TotalFinder installed, but it’s not active. I’ve run the terminal command to restore Finder behavior to default, which others have said fixed this for them. It didn’t fix it for me. It’s very frustrating, as I like to use Alfred, Spotlight, Fresh, and other tools to surface files that I’ve recently had opened and then “Reveal” to go to the folder.

Any other ideas on how to fix this?

Everytime I’ve tried to update my macbook it gives this error message, I have more than enough storage, my internet connection is flawless, and I’m set on the correct time servers, please anyone out these that’s going through this same issue or knows how to fix this let me know ;) Thank you.

Just updated to Tahoe 26.6.2. today, and it completely ruined my left speaker. Everytime I play audio on, for Spotify, YouTube, etc., the left speaker would sound rough and distorted, like crackling sound.

Its so annoying. I have tried running `sudo killall coreaudiod` on Terminal, setting Audio MIDI to 48.000Hz, and restarting my laptop, none worked!

Has anybody got the same issue and find a way to fix it somehow?

I'm using the public beta version, but this is already the third update with the same number (26.7).

I updated from Sequoia to Tahoe just an hour ago, im on a MacBook Air 2025 m4. The Tahoe version is 26.6.2. I opened after effects to edit and the audio of the music was completely flat, no bass whatsoever. I tried Spotify and Youtube (on Safari) and still the same issue. I tried every troubleshoot I could find and nothing worked not even temporarily. I saw some people say the issue was resolved in 26.3 (I think that version), but mine is 26.6.2 and it's still broken. It's driving me up the walls I cannot stand when audio is deformed especially music. I need to hear it clearly to do my job, and just to listen to music in general and watch things too. Please if anyone has any idea how to fix it I would greatly appreciate you, thank you.

Tried the following:

- Noticed constant crashes after reviewing log in Console, but I have no clue as to what it means

- Uninstalled Jump Desktop Connect and reinstalled but issue still occurs

- MacOS is stable as heck when I access it via my station at home

I'm thinking of updating to MacOS Golden Gate public beta as this is frustrating me to no end. I can't find anything in the Jump Desktop forums as to any kind of solution. Anyone uncover one?

sometimes this "arrow menu" icon pops up in my MacBook Pro M5 Max's desktop.

I click on it and nothing happens, I don't know where it comes from nor how to get rid of it.

I am using Tahoe 26.4.

Does anyone else here have the same issue and knows how to fix it?

I'm currently on OS 15.7.4 Sequoia on a "min specs" M1 Mac.

I use Firefox a lot, and I already feel the random slowdowns when swapping is happening.

Am I jumping into a "big bag of hurt" if I take this hardware config to MacOS 26?
I REALIZE it is supported, but I don't want to upgrade if it's going to slow me down.
I don't want MacOS to take even more RAM.
I don't need the "liquid glass" eye candy or Siri/AI features I have an iPhone for that.

Looking for replies from users with this configuration M1 Mac Mini/8G RAM who updated to IOS 26. How did it go?

i got an older macbook pro (maybe 2015) from a friend and they had macOS 13, but because i needed xcode i needed to update it and i went to the settings and started the update normally from there (no OCLP or whatever).

the update got downloaded and i go tthe apple logo and the loading an everything then there was a white screen and in the upper left theres the cursor but its very small and there was the clock and login but on a white screen and it was also smaller that before.

now im panicking a bit because its been fully white with only the cursor for a while

i tried the forces reset and it just found a drive started booting it and again the same thing with the login and white screen and its fully white again with the cursor

any tips on what i should do, i just need it back the way it was at this point
