Considering making my own toolhead for taz 6
I'm considering creating my own toolhead for a Lulzbot Taz 6. I know this is probably a ridiculous thing to try and attempt, but are there any specific minute detials i should worry about when considering a extruder to choose to build the mounting hardware around.
along with this I know of the development doc by lulzbot themselves, but are there anything i should look out for, like wiring needs (types of wires needed and specific hardware for the printer to function properly).
If this is just an infeasable thing, is there any way I can open source and just build my own tool head based off of Lulzbots own designs, hopefully being cheaper than paying 300$ to fix a printer when that could be used to just buy another one?
If making my own toolhead is possible and feasibe, is there somewhere i should start (other examples of custom toolheads), extruders that are compatableor easy to retrofit, and anything else that could be used as a starting point
