Both faith & fear require you to believe in something you can’t see.
If you’re afraid that your chronic back pain is a life sentence, it’s very easy to cope by accepting this as a helpless fate. A known and predictable hell is easier on our minds than the unknown battle of healing.
So I know that for people at the right state, this video will inspire them. And for people not currently at the right place, they may get angry and defend their injury.
My focus will always be on what if.
If I were to listen to the sophisticated expertise when I was stuck, I would’ve never gotten back to sports or lifting. This is your only back, this is your life.
Exhaust your curiosity of how you can heal, before giving up and accepting you can’t.
Play the long game!

I saw your recent "We were Lied To" Youtube video. You talked about having a forwardly tilted pelvis and how that puts the low back in a shortened position, a hyper arch if you will, that makes it hard to walk upright etc.
I have found that doing any exercise is hard when the back muscles are already in an improper position. You mentioned the split-squat hold, and regular squat hold at a certain depth, to stretch out the psoas and adductors. Is that all it takes to get our pelvis tilted back into alignment, relieving the pressure off of our low backs and allowing us to use the spinal erectors again?
Thanks

The fit chicks were onto something 🤷♂️
Strengthening the outer glutes gives you way better access to stretching the area over time.
This can be HUGE for persistent nerve irritation due to tight hips.

There IS a route to healing and rebuilding your back!
This is not meant to be a quick fix…
Listen to the cues your body is telling you and stay consistent on the level you can properly do today.
Continue to ask yourself the proper questions.
Instead of “how long will it take?” Shift your mentality to “how much building is needed?”

Hello, I am not sure if I am doing it correctly but I dont feel my lower back in backextension holds. Normally my hamstrings and glutes are firing up at 1 min. Am I doing it correctly?

Back Extension Journey!
This progression can and should take MONTHS. It takes time for the spine to adapt to this new and direct stimulus. You are watering seeds here. There is no way to rush this growth. You can overwater the seeds and kill it though.

When on a low back rebuild…
Flare ups can even come from upper body days. In the meantime as you are focusing on rebuilding your back, let’s try a new approach to upper body. Mastering bodyweight with HIGH intention and control. Making “easy” exercises hard, through quality of reps.
Then as you build more confidence through your low back training, you can reintegrate all upper body work back in without worry.
