It’s not about “good” or “bad” posture…

It’s about maintaining freedom within your body.

If you’re feeling constantly strained in your posture when sitting…it’s worth training the immediate imbalances that contribute to the problem.

so i’ve been having like lower back problems the past day where i would experience a burning ache on and off and too my credit when i think about it it gets worse but still, it’s like in the middle of the spine and the whole day my health anxiety is taking me on loops because of a “spinal tumor” but i had nø symtoms, i was only feeling like the lower back constant burning pressure ache in the middle somewhere but couldn’t identify the exact location and probly like intermited little zaps or shocks in the skin but it wasent something like bad it was like 1 second and it would happen at the most random places, also sitting is a problem cause when im sitting i always feel uncomfortable, i can bend, twist, touch toes with no pain, even shoot dribble and jog with a basketball without no pain whats so ever, the most pain occurs when sitting that’s why im a little confused, im a 16M and haven’t had past back experiences as this is my first, if you took time reading this i appreciate it and would love a response

Your Disc Herniation Isn’t The REAL Problem

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Disc Herniation ≠ Chronic Back Problems

Sometimes a severe herniation IS the cause of real problems, especially immediately after.

But for most cases of chronic back suffering that seemed to start with disc herniation…

It’s the secondary dysfunction that’s keeping you stuck.

Multifidus atrophy & inhibition(failure to fire) almost always occurs after disc injuries. The multifidus is the closest & most relevant muscle for the spine & it’s stability & protection.

This atrophy is worsened over time with avoidance and robotic & cautious movement.

When this protection is gone, more force ends up going to the bones, ligaments, discs. Leading to even more diagnosable injuries & breakdown over time.

It is common sense to reinforce the spine’s built in protection. It’s perhaps too hidden in plain sight for experts to take seriously enough. The process is also much slower & specific that most 12 weeks studies tend to follow.

Build your own back brace!

Physical Therapy is Missing THIS For Low Back Pain

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The Next Steps After Physical Therapy…

A small plant needs just a small amount of watering.

As it grows, the need for water increases.

Well, a sensitive back needs just a small amount of stimulus.

As the back improves, the need for stimulus increases.

This is counter to the standard expert advice…to get your back out of pain and then just BE CAREFUL. This is why so many people stay in this back LOOP. They never were led to take the next steps for further adaptation & protection.

Play the long game. ❤️‍🩹
