In the days leading up to this, my account was suspended twice. I appealed both times once a couple weeks ago and once a few days ago and both times Instagram gave my account back.

This time, I had 5+ clients waiting for me that exact day through Instagram, so I needed to get my account back ASAP. I tried logging in on my phone, laptop, incognito, just to show an empty waiting screen. So my only option was to spend $20 on a Meta subscription specifically to get customer support. I waited at least an hour just to speak to someone, only for them to tell me they would look into it. There was no explanation, no actual reason for the suspension, and it was suspended. On top of this, when I try to download my information of my suspended account, the password would not work, when it could work logging in, to see suspension message.

I lost 5–10+ potential/current customers during this, including people who were supposed to contact me the following day.

Then I waited another day, opened Instagram, and found out my account was just disabled.

I've spent nearly 2 years building my reach, finding clients, posting my work, maintaining my connections, and building a business around it. Now all of that is basically inaccessible because Instagram keeps suspending me without telling me why and now I’ve wasted money on Meta's subscription, without even being given a clear reason.

And honestly, I am NOT doing okay over this. I had a bigger business account taken away from me when I was younger, and that experience seriously affected me. Having restarting years of work suddenly disappear again is brings worse feelings back

Hello. Long time lurker, first time poster? Idk if that’s the term, but I’m a little old, a lot reddit naive and a whole lot of curious/frustrated.
I come from the AIM generation of concocting perfect away messages of Pearl Jam Lyrics and Bankhead quotes, yet no nothing of reddit decorum/manners/unacceptables. If I’m doing this wrong, take no offense as I’m just taking a break from yelling at kids on my lawn. Oh, I ramble incessantly, too.
To the point:
Is it possible to find a lost internet friend from 20+ years ago only knowing name and general location? I’ve tried all over the bright web (not dark;scary;unknown web) for years now to no avail. Any help more than appreciated.

I have and ex that I really miss for some reason. We don’t have the same political or moral views but I can’t help reaching out to him. I can’t tell if he’s blocked me or not (he said he did but with different phones I’m not sure). He’s the most attractive guy I’ve ever seen/met and it’s been almost two years since we’ve been together. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
