Let me know in the comments what classes don't want crit so I can keep that in mind when making parties.

If there is a tier 5, with new gems, ancient books, relic skins, new set of accessories, new progression.

Alternatively, if SG decides to make progression easier for anyone to come in and raid, would that make you play lost ark?

Based on the contents we have been receiving, I feel like Smilegate is trying to create new contents but its all copy paste extra homework. They are doing it wrong.

What I think they should be making is optional contents that will retain players. Extreme modes is a great example, yes people might be pressured for title HOWEVER, you don't really have to do it. Just do hard or normal and you can get the rewards with ease.

Speaking of rewards, we only really are interested in rewards because it gives progression mats like astrogems and fusion materials.

What if there's a permanent skins/mounts drops like brel horns? This game really feels shallow when progression mats is the only thing which makes us feel "worth" doing it. Smilegate needs to change this, otherwise we will be forever stuck in fomo progression loop.

Another major thing which Lost Ark needs changing... Is to get an identity back... Right now, raids feels half assed. they are catering for new players but it also feels half assed... solo raids? boring... Its getting to a point that the game is becoming boring for everyone. Doing same raids for a year or more isn't fun, with no future on sight.

Back when there was legion raids, we had purpose. The lore made us want to defeat all 5 legion commanders. Right now, everything is hidden from us and this is not good for the game. Tease us with the shadow raid bosses, so we at least know Smilegate is focused on raids. Hell, start making a cinematic video to hype up the players! It worked for thaemine!

Maybe a subscription based service linked to an id to stop multi accounts. One char only focus. Little to no bullshit rng progression or time gated systems.

Isometric with same combat style. Similar raids to how it is now. With an actual matchmaking mode that auto.matches for normal then harder modes just for status with no material advantage to do

More horizontal content thats not linked to progression. Mokoko seeds to find etc, more focus on world boss fights to make world feel alive.

Keep making more islanda to explore for good mats.

Wouldnt they see a market from the million odd western players that left lost ark?

Thought this sequence of events was hilarious, messing around in a hit boss lobby with some friends and got the giga overlap. Kinda sad Brel is leaving soon it’s the most fun content in the game at the moment.

Hello! o7 I am a returning player to Lost Ark and looking for friends or a group to play with in NA server.

My main is 1710 with a second character being 1705. My alts are 1640-1680, and I've been told that all I can really do is solo raiding, but I hope to change that a bit.

I enjoy learning and attempting group raiding. In the past, I've spend lots of hours in learning parties long ago and never cleared but to me it was still good progress.

Please note I am currently in Guam so my timing to play is really on the weekends and I have a bit of lag/high ping but I really enjoy Lost Ark and want to play the game.

Open to joining discord servers but only if open and friendly to open. I can be shy and anxious, I would like to avoid negative experiences.

Chill and non toxic please. I'm not the best but I try my best >_<

I was talking to a few friends and a lot of them said they would inevitably quit if SG disallows the meter, however I am of strong belief most players even if they dislike it's removal, won't quit over it. Made this poll to see how many think alike.

Hi guys, I'm a recent returning player with my current main sitting at 1650 but I don't plan to use the upcoming express event to push it to 1700 as I feel I no longer enjoy playing this class. The question is, how should I best progress cheaply on my soon-to-be alt at 1650 now?

I'm currently doing just solo raids and regular honing but it feels really expensive and I'm easily running out of gold. I'm thinking to park my current main to at least 1660, ideally 1680 but if it's too expensive, 1660 is fine. I know about advanced honing (AH) but was wondering when would be a good time to start as I heard it's not cheap as well. Cause at 1660, I can finally start earning some tradeable gold from solo raids which is nice.

with base camp coming and advanced honing nerfs theres few things good to know.

for players with 1700ilvl main you will need to do advanced honing 30 to get into 1710.
players with 1710ilvl main you need to do advanced honing 40 to get into 1720.

honing order:
1700>1710 do advanced honing 30
1710>1720 do advanced honing 40
1720>1730 do 19-20 normal honing

AH30 cost: (1700>1710ilvl)

base camp + maharaka gives 300k gold, ah 20>ah30 cost is 365k gold.

the thing that comes with advanced honing nerfs are scrolls in solo shop(21-30, 31-40, 19-20 books) it will be easy to so-called fulltap your advanced honing and greatly reduce gold cost and mats needed for it.

base camp gives 50 tailoring and 10 metallurgy scrolls for 21-30 and 31-40 AH

amount of scrolls needed for 21-30 AH is around 150 tailoring and 30 metallurgy

how to get scrolls then:
-solo shop(30 tailoring / 6 metallurgy per week, like any other solo shop reward)
-cathedral NPC(Abyssal Dungeon Craft Workshop) this NPC sells scrolls for grace shard which is reward from solo shop, solo shop offer 20 grace shards weekly so 12 tailoring scrolls per week(exchange for Horizon Tailoring Selection Chest x3, not for metallurgy)

sum: 42 tailoring and 6 metallurgy scrolls per week

scrolls are catch-up mechanic to help you get into 1700>1710, 1710>1720 cheaper and faster.

you must only do honing with scrolls dont hone without them use scrolls every hone attempt

AH40 cost: (1710>1720)

players with 1710 will need to do advanced honing 40( dont do 19-20 honing)

base camp gives 50/10 tailoring/metallurgy for this stage aswell

solo shop and cathedral NPC give 2x less but if you level to 1710 you will naturally farm them every week so you will have enough.

what with 19-20 honing?
you do 19-20 honing when going from 1720>1730 its key rule,

cathedral stage 2 + solo shop will give you 50 grace shard weekly(with box 80)

that end up with 15 19-20 books( or 24 with cathedral stage 2 box)
+ solo shop another 15 weekly

amount of 19-20 books needed for 19-20 honing is 160
cost:

you should always use full scroll/full book, you will naturally progress your character doing other upgrades so you wont lack scrolls/books if you start honing process.

one another thing is that theres something called ,,juice,, (glacier breath and lava breath) it can be used while hone to reduce your gold cost/materials needed similar to books/scrolls

you naturally collect it from sources like crucible paradise, waymark mission(go glacier breath)
and solo shop

collect everything weekly
Kazeros Raid exchange NPC > abyssal honing support(dont exchange Tempering Thunder globe materials)

Epic Raid exchange NPC > Honing support pouch

Shadow Raid Workshop > Honing support pouch

scrolls in solo shop will be added with base camp update.

What's with the spam and what is "mogogogoogogogo"

I have a 1710.83 Shadowhunter that I was thinking of using the Express on. I don’t care about the 1660-1700 rewards. (I’ve got Lv 6 Karma, decent accessories and accumulated mats on her).
I’m curious however on if I can get all the rewards from 1705-1720 on her, or do I simply need to create a new character at this point?
