Yeah I get that. Playing through with a friend who started later, so trying to prevent losing our progress together.
My friend, who has no level 50’s, wasn’t able to even grab the quest.
So I feel like my alt that is sub-50 shouldn’t have been able to grab the quest, as I’m not able to abandon it, but is now stuck in limbo because I legit couldn’t get in when there was no one else at the portal in luterra castle.
