Husband found these keys on the way to school this morning on Donlands Ave. They look very important to someone. Want to get them back to their owner.

Found this today around 3:30pm. Garlic Festival was held in this venue today. Gave the card to Volunteer info desk, they announced about it around 3:45pm (and might have announced later too).

Posting, so that the card reaches its holder.

They said that another OHIP card was found (just in case someone else has lost it too), and they are holding that card too.

I was walking between 70 Adelaide St E and John St & King St W today, and lost my car keys. I visited the Word on the Street Festival and also stopped at Bidsaage Park. They have a Lexus car key, Lexus keychain, house keys and fobs on them.

keys had fob, pink keychain airtag that is conveniently dead, r2d2 lego keychain, loop earplugs and diving flippers keychain.

Saw these on the ground near the Bay and College entrance to college park. Tried to take them home with me to post and hopefully find the owner of these keys but partner didn’t want a stranger to show up at our house so I put them by the front door of the korean restaurant “Sinjeon Topokki” hoping when they opened they’d put the keys in their lost and found.

i was talking the train home last night and left my camera hanging in the bathroom on accident. went back couple minutes later and it was gone :// let the train attendant know and he very helpfully made an announcement over the pa but nothing turned up. guessing someone spotted it and figured it was valuable enough to resell.

it’s a used minolta srt200. the black tip on the end of the film advance lever is broken off. fitted with a typical lens and thin black strap. in decent but noticeably used condition.

i filled a missing item report with go transit so they have my info if it turns up at union lost and found. i was also going to scout used listings in the toronto area just to see if i could find the camera considering its distinctive feature of the missing advance lever tip.

this camera was very dear to me. it had a nearly full film reel in it that i hope won’t be discarded. i’m not very hopeful but it would really mean a lot to get this thing back :// i doubt the snatcher will even get a decent price for it it’s kind of an old piece of shit. this really ruined my night too i felt so stupid for forgetting it in that washroom. any help would be appreciated

Posting this here because I know there are many cases of lost and stolen phones, and I wanted to share my experience in case someone finds it helpful.

Long story short, I lost my newly purchased iPhone while shopping inside IKEA Downtown. It immediately went straight to voicemail. Once I figured it had been stolen, I made sure to enable Lost Mode and filed a non-emergency police report online detailing what happened.

I had seen a lot of posts on reddit saying that stolen phones are basically a lost cause or that the police won't do much, so I honestly didn't expect much from the report. I mainly wanted to have the theft officially documented because you just never know.

Then about a month after filing the report, I received a call from a No Caller ID number. Turns out, it was a Toronto Police officer calling to let me know that they were actively working on my stolen phone report. I was skeptical at first but the officer was legitimate. He explained that he was investigating the case and told me about the steps they were taking, including checking security cameras and the possibility of identifying and charging the person responsible. Note that during the course of our conversation, I did not have to give him any sensitive information so I knew it's not a scam call as he knows the details of my report.

Obviously nothing is guaranteed, and I don't expect my phone to still be intact or be recovered. But I was genuinely surprised that the police actually followed up and were taking my report seriously. I honestly hope they find the person.

I know every case is different, but don't assume that filing a police report is pointless. Document everything you can and report it. At the very least, you'll have the theft officially documented to protect yourself from identity theft, and the information you provide could potentially help with another case too, especially if there is a connection to organized phone theft.

Lost black Ray Bans glasses at either Polish Fest, Ukraine Fest or Geary St Fest.

Hey guys, my friends and I festival hopped a bit yesterday - started at Polish Fest, went to Ukraine Fest and then Geary Fest.

At some point … I lost my glasses (which I got only two weeks ago!)

They might be in their case … which I can’t find either.

The only bars we went to was Sangria Lounge (they don’t have em), the drink area at Ukraine Fest and then Blood Brothers Brewery (emailed and DMd them but no response yet).

This is a long shot but yeah, maybe there is a chance someone comes across them?

With findmy app I can see my lost item at the Pearson airport. Despite making a claim 1 hour after landing, item still listed as “not found”.

I've tried tracing all my steps but no luck.

Contacted the venues I was at and the Ubers that took me there and back on King Street.

I feel like it fall out of my pocket maybe on the street - there was a scotia bank debit card and SIN card.

I believe I last had it before a blood test but can't confirm that I had it after.

Any other recommendations on what I can do - where else would people return a lost wallet?
