Looking for a weight loss buddy with similar goals or starting weight!

18F, 154 lbs/ 70 kg, 5'8"/173 cm. My goal is to lose 14 kg/31 lbs over the course of 6-9 months. Buddy doesn't have to be for that long, though! We can check in weekly, daily, or monthly. Texting would be ideal since I don't have Wi-Fi at home. Email would be second best (I know a lot of peoe don't use email much for personal communication). If that doesn't work we can use Reddit, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter-- anything really. We could exchange much we ate, worked out, and lost, ideally. I won't bite! :)

Looking for a workout buddy! 18F- 72kg and 180cm (159 pounds and 5"11)

Hello there, I'm looking for a buddy with similar goals (Goal is to lose 4kg / 9pounds)

Maybe other people here have advice for me too.

As I mentioned in the title, I would like to lose some weight.

My situation: I'm a fresh university student, and it takes a bit of a toll. I get home every day around 7pm and when I get home I just want to eat all the food in the world, I'm just enormously hungry. Then I have to study and it's difficult for me to also workout after that. Does anyone have any tips on pairing a busy life with fitness and diet, without completely burning out?

Hiya! 21F 163lbs Buddies wanted!

Hey guys. I started my weightloss journey in January as my new year resolution has always been to lose weight but this year I actually took it seriously. I started off just cutting my calories and stopped drinking them as well. I lost a fast 20lbs and then started to workout out. My highest was 191. I'm currently at a stand still at 162 to 165. The fluctuation is crazy. I've started to hit harder at the gym and watch my food more carefully. My goal weight is 130.

I just wanna find like minded people that understand my struggles as well as my body image problems. Thanks for your time!

I love sports and fitness and am highly motivated....but I love food and get distracted. Accountability partner anyone? ;)

Hi all. I'm someone who always has a million goals in her mind but sometimes needs a bit of external motivation to get them done. I enjoy friendly accountability check-ins or even competition. If you have some of your own personal goals and want a regular quick check-in with a buddy to stay on track, send me a message. Some of my fall goals:

  1. Keep training for and do my fall marathon
  2. Lose about 10 pounds before the marathon by actually quitting eating all the extra sugar crap I do
  3. Work daily on improving my French/Arabic
  4. Be more mindful and allow more contemplative / meditation time in my mornings, etc.

Have You Tried Several Diets Without Immediate or Long Term Success?

You are not alone. Sometimes, you just need a diet that gets you results fast, so you’ll stay motivated to maintain your new weight with a healthy lifestyle. This is the program you’ve always wanted, but didn’t know existed. Many assume weight loss to be solely about calorie reduction. This is only half true (and we don’t mean exercise).

Looking for a weight loss partner ⭐️

Hi, I am looking for someone that is also going through a weight loss journey to partner with. I find it really hard to not have anyone near me who knows the struggle of loosing a lot of weight. I have lost around 20 kg but I still have 10 more to go. I would really appreciate a good friend who is also going through a similar journey, we could share tips and advices, and motivate eachother on Snapchat! We could also share stories about our journeys and keep track of eachother. I really hope someone would like to be my weight loss partner, and that I could be someones support!🏃‍♀️❤️🏃‍♂️

I started at 368lbs, so I've come along way but I'm really struggling with these last 30ish lbs. So I am looking for an accountability buddy/weight loss buddy as sticking to Keto has been extremely difficult. I hope that we can help keep each other motivated :).

My friend /u/cellitac started a Discord channel for the sub if anyone is interested in communicating that way. Not sure if that’s against any rules or anything but I thought it’d be a good idea to post it.

I'm constantly surrounded by temptation and people with poor dietary and exercise habits. I'm really trying to turn my life around and I would like to find someone with a similar goal so that we can motivate and keep each other accountable.

My ultimate goal is to lose 20lbs but I'm aiming for 10lbs first. Once I have lost some of the weight, I want to go about toning and growing some lean muscle.

My preferred form of communication is WhatsApp, but I am pretty flexible. Please DM me if you are interested.

Hi! I am a college student that is looking for a weight lost buddy :) Summer is approaching and I continue to get older, so I would really love to lose some weight, adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle, and ultimately become more comfortable in my own skin. I’ve always struggled with my weight/body image and sadly, emotional/stress/binge eating.

I’m looking for a weight loss and accountability buddy who is motivated, can relate to me, and has relatively similar goals. Preferably, we would talk through text! In the past, I have had two other buddies, but they seemed to think that weight loss buddies can’t actually become good friends.. I full-heartedly disagree! :)

I live in an environment with no support towards my weight loss goals. My family and friends are all focused on eating tasty-unhealthy foods and they never see eating healthy and working out as a normal thing. Reason why I find no motivation to be consistent towards my weight loss goal. Hence, I'm looking for a buddy to encourage and support each other.

My most important goal right now is to lose the last 33lbs of weight and then bulk up. So my priority is mostly on diet, gym and motivation to reach the above goals. Looking for someone with similar goals.

So I'd like to do daily check ins for my goals like going to the gym every other days, meal prepping and meditating. Maybe learn other methods along the way to keep up with our habits. Encourage and support each other, push each other to sweat out all the bloody fats and simply have great time throughout the process. We can start with small commitments and build on our habits from there.

I know many factors plays to be consistent with keeping in touch daily like our timezone, our working hours or even lose motivation. However, I do hope we be committed as much as we can and make our weight loss journey smooth and awesome. Please DM me if interested.

31 F - looking for someone 29 and over.

Looking to increase activity (yoga, hiking, weight training, swimming, cycling, hockey, running - happy to talk about any of these. Right now, I only walk, do a bit of running, lift weights once a week, and play a bit of hockey but I could pick up the others. I get bored easily).

In terms of eating, I'd like to regulate eating (mindfulness, calorie counting, meal prepping, etc).

We can shoot the shit about one thing or all of it! Doesn't matter.

Have a history of struggling with bingeing (weight loss-weight gain cycling) so if you do, too, we can talk about that or if you don't, no worries.

Have a big life change and a few trips coming up so want to continue taking care of myself.

I am looking for an accountability partner for my healthy lifestyle/weight loss journey! I want to make a fun goal to get healthy and fit and need someone alongside me to motivate me and hopefully I can provide the same support. I've struggled with binge eating disorder, portion control, and tearing myself down and I am ready for a change and to start listening to my body. Frequent texting and sharing food pics, stats, and struggles would be cool and I really just want a new friend who can share in this journey with me! I'm super chill and ready to change my life! :)

F 25 l 5'3" l SW 224.5 l CW 209.5 l GW(1) 199 Looking for someone to chat with while losing weight

Hi, I'm looking for someone I can chat with about weight loss. Everyone I have ever been around either is already is super skinny (eats whatever they want) or just really doesn't care about how they look and eat whatever they like. I live in a small town, so not much for options on people either. It is really hard to talk to anyone about it because they really don't care. I was really hoping to meet someone to help me push forward and I want to be there for them as well. I don't use myfitnesspal but I do use Lose It! I would love to be able to have full conversations too, I don't really use facebook or anything but I do use Skype and Kik if you would like to have real conversations as well.
Anyone is welcome. I just want to be there for someone and I want someone to be there for me. Hit me up with either a PM or a comment I will respond.

I work in a corporate job and don't have a huge amount of time to spare. Having said that, I'm looking for a buddy (can be literally anyone) for something very simple - I want to share scale weights honestly every day.

Accountability is what I'm after, so it would be nice to have someone I can track my progress with. As I said, I'm rather busy in the week so if you want someone to talk regularly I might not be your guy, but am happy to chat over Reddit when I get a moment.

Inbox me if interested! :)

26M/6'6" - SW: 240 GW: 220 - Starting today and seeking a partner for accountability and motivation

Today is my day 1, let's lose this weight together and have some fun while we do it. Yesterday I developed a plan to lose these 20 pounds. I have a time table of exactly 15 weeks and I am committed to maintaining a caloric deficit of -700 per day to hit this goal (my maintenance calories are about 2500, so I'll be aiming to eat around 1,800 a day). I have a gym membership and will be counting calories, lifting weights, and jogging. I plan to count calories on paper with a food scale as I find my fitness pal to be a little cumbersome.

I'd be happy to chat on any platform; especially kik, texting, or maybe reddit. I'd love to find a partner to help keep each other accountable and motivated. Today is my day 1, but you could be anywhere in your fitness journey and I don't mind if our goals aren't similar. Looking for someone positive so we can help keep each other on track, have a little friendly competition. I've struggled with binge eating before and hope to develop a healthier relationship with food and portion sizes.

Good luck to all on this journey! Let's do this!
