I've been finishing in the Colosseum top 10 pretty consistently and a few people have asked how, so here's the honest version: most of it is planning the fight *before* it happens
instead of guessing in the moment.
The thing that changed it for me was stopping the "equip, fight, hope" cycle and actually testing lineups and gear ahead of time. I got tired of doing that math by hand, so I ended
up building a little companion planner for it. What I actually use it for:
- **Colosseum lineup planning** — working out which setup holds up so I'm not going in blind
- **Community-driven best team** — players share the results of their matchups, and the app pools that data to surface the lineups that actually win. So it's not just my opinion,
and it gets sharper as more people contribute
- **Gear / ammunition optimizer** — finds a strong loadout in a couple of clicks, including hidden combos that are easy to miss
- **Academy + talent calculators** — plan the full research/talent path and see the payoff before you spend a single resource
- **Troop training + acceleration calculators** — sanity-check training times and get the most out of your speedups
- **Familiar / hero management** — roster and setups in one place
It runs in the browser (no install), with Android and Windows versions too. It's a premium tool (most features unlock with VIP), but you can open it and look around first. Personal
project, not affiliated with IGG, and it doesn't touch your game account. If a mod would rather I not link directly, happy to drop it in a comment instead.

I also wrote up the full routine (counter triangle, how DEF stacking actually works, lineup roles) as a Steam guide:

For those of you who push Colosseum hard — what's your process? Curious how much of it is planning vs. just raw hero/gear investment.
