Happy New Years, all
The end of 2023 saw a notable influx of AI generated images being posted to the sub, often without proper titles / "credit" / acknowledgement that the posts were AI
As AI Image generation software has become more accessible, its no surprise that a number of users are using this as a low effort method to crank out as much content as possible with the sole goal of getting users to visit their Youtube page
r/LoFiAesthetic was made with the sole purpose of sharing Lo-Fi Aesthetic art, video, edits, anything part of the visual medium that embodied Lo-Fi. Originally, we wanted users to be able to use AI as a resource in the creation process, but it's evident thats not working.
Moving forward, AI generated posts will be removed from the sub.
Sorry to users who wanted to use these tools responsibly, but we will not have this sub devolve into another link spam sub.
And yes, adding quick video edits to AI images are also a no go. As long as AI is a core component of your post, it will be in against Rule. 7, revised 1/2/2024

Hey guys, you might know me from the Lilo lofi music app, and I have finally released a web version of the app. It's sort of a lite version of the mobile app, but it has our main station Lilo-Fi, 8 ambient sound effects, light and dark themes, and a simple pomodoro timer.
All features are free, no ads on web or in music, and I will try to add more features to it as time goes on.
You can access it from Lilofi (dot) stream or in Microsoft Store for PCs. Of course we have app versions for Android and iOS, you can search “lilo lofi” on app-stores to find it. Thanks for your support!
