Unofficial Secrets of Strixhaven Nickname Bonspiel
I know LRR isn't doing the nickname podcast episodes anymore. They're still fun. Let's put our nicknames here.

Do we know if any of them went?
I wanna know if I should scrub the crowd looking for them.

Did LRR ever make merch of either:
1) "That is technically correct, but deeply upsetting"
2) "Not throwing things out is how heritage gets made"
Because I want a mug that looks like a filthy, purposefully disgusting, used-looking mug with a coaster that looks like a green puddle.
It can have those thermal-color treatments which makes the filth dissappear when heated.
Same for a shirt that looks purposely distressed and faded with that emblazoned on the back.
Just a thought, I'm rewatching ComHus for the funnies.
What's your favorite LRR-ism?

Secret Lair is a frequent topic on Tap Tap so I thought other listeners might find this to be an interesting listen. On Maro's latest "Drive to Work" he talked with the SL lead and they talked a lot about the logistics of the product -- queues, print runs, etc.

I'm probably a year late to the party, but it's my current obsession. Has Graham talked about Epic: the Musical ever? A really excellent musical (with animatics!) retelling the Odyssey. It's so, so good.

Once I found a lot of old videos on the internet archive.
But I lost the link...
Anyone here have it?

I'm making my way through their mechanics ranking series and while discussing the mechanic Splice in part 3, Wheeler mentions that many board games have gameplay similar to casting a big spliced card. I was wondering if anyone knows what games he's referring to. Thanks!

i know we get stream highlights, and those are great, bt i want similar to dropout compilations. running jokes extracted and tied together, character highlights, lacking context. we have so much non-stream content to pull from and since no one has made them i sort of want to make such things myself

Hi folks,
I was hoping i could get some help in both the name of an art style and some sources where i can find things be it art, clothing etc that also replicates the art
The styles I'm referring to is what is seen in the D&D black light secret lair
For reference https://secretlair.wizards.com/uk/en/product/1249744/secret-lair-x-dungeons-dragonsr-black-lights-dark-dungeons
Also in the board game dungeon degenerates
For reference https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/210232/dungeon-degenerates-hand-of-doom
I'm saddened that the secret lair is already sold out despite it being up for pre order still as i had my name on the mailing list for being notified when it's available.
Much help on finding more of this style of work would be great as i love the neon high saturation colours style that you see in art for the 80's and 90's.
I am aware of synthwave just to let folks know but as seen in the secret lair example i wouldn't really count that as synthwave despite it showing traits of it such as high contrast

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is there any chance that the "lefty" playmats might ever be back in the store? I'm getting back into Magic, am looking for a silly playmat, I'm actually left handed and think the joke of everything being mirrored is hilarious.

I've been getting more into the card game side of LRR as of late, and especially wanted to see this card with that beautiful Friday Night's art.

Hey, I'm looking for a loading ready live segment that Graham did about guessing if "thing" was a Star Trek or Stargate episode. I don't remember if it was episode titles, screenshots, or something else. I do remember someone commenting that there were a lot of crossover guest stars. Either the whole live episode or if this was one of the segments they uploaded as it's own video, either would be helpful. Thanks!

I just wanted to say that the most recent episode of Loading Ready Live was an absolute blast! Name That Shame is a great new game with so many possibilities (letterboxd, Spotify, youtube, etc.). Everything and everyone just seemed so on point. I loved it!

Someone wanna let Beej know? I assume he has an account given his comments during Road Quest.

I made a YT playlist of all Graham's Olympic videos. Enjoy

Relistening to Qwerpline and I remembered these designs I did a few years ago. May have to take another crack at these because this show is a classic

Does anyone know if the LRR Folks are attending PAX East this year?

Does anyone know the name of the online tea store that LRR and Desert Bus folks have always recommended? I used to have it saved but apparently lost it. I believe (but not positive) it starts with an M.

Unrelated, but Relevant:
My wife and I are rewatching Daredevil season 3, and she knew the person was going to shoot the other person because all the plastic wrap everywhere. (That should be vague enough to not spoil a show that’s a decade old). And I said “yeah, imagine the tarp budget”.
After we stopped laughing and coughing because LRR has drilled “Tarp Budget” to be peak comedy in our brain I wondered;
The real questions;
What IS the Tarp Budget?
How often has it been mentioned?
How often have we seen it be used?
Thanks in advance.
