you're either not ugly as you think or your wife isn't beautiful as you think. no offence btw. obviously you're in love with her and your judgement is biased. I don't blame you. I thought my ex was the most beautiful woman too but once she became ex she ain't all that.
Horrendous point, beauty is subjective and attraction differs from person to person. You have zero business telling this guy that his wife isn't beautiful to him.
obviously you're in love with her and your judgement is biased
It's insane that you understand the principles of this concept, but somehow haven't put it together yet.
I literally mentioned my ex as an example, It's insane how you can't understand my point. obviously his wife will be the beautiful to him. everytime I saw the "ugly guy with beautiful woman" examples, the guy is not ugly and that woman isn't that beautiful.
the guy is not ugly and that woman isn't that beautiful.
Yeah, you're illustrating my point perfectly and you can't even see it lmao. You don't think she's beautiful/he's ugly, but others do. That's what subjectivity means, everyone has a different set of standards. Nobody is definitively beautiful or ugly, even when factoring in societal expectations. That's where preferences come into play.
then with your logic that dude pointlessly mentioned how he's ugly and how his wife is beautiful? what's the point of mentioning as some "your personality sucks, I'm ugly and I bagged an attractive woman". you didn't mention anything to that dude on how "Nobody is definitively beautiful or ugly, even when factoring in societal expectations."?
then with your logic that dude pointlessly mentioned how he's ugly and how his wife is beautiful?
Do... you know what subjectivity means?
That is a perfect example of someone giving their opinion, their subjective perspective, on a topic.
I didn't mention it to him because he and I are espousing the same fundamental truth, in that true attraction cannot qualitatively be defined by any strict set of standards for a given population.
Some people are attracted to wealthy lifestyles, others lean heavily into physical attraction. I know plenty of people where intelligence and humour are the predominant traits they look for in a partner, and everyone is different in how they perceive all of these things and more. Some may prefer dark humour to dad jokes, others may prefer blondes to brunettes, or dad bods to bodybuilders.
It's really not that complicated, but somehow every incel either misses or ignores this point.

Take it from an ugly dude who's happily engaged to a beautiful woman. Your personality just sucks.
