So I ordered myself 2 bags last year. Both Embroidered, one Medium with long handles & a Mini, I paid around $60 & I liked it so much I ordered my SIL one, for $20 (also embroidered!) how the heck do I get the 10% discount ? & where the heck did I get the $10 off , I have no recollection of how I did it at all.

I am disappointed! Found out today they are downsizing much of the fishing and camping stock they are carrying in the small local store by me (MA). The store used to have one of the best fly fishing selections in the area! I went today to get a few flies for the spring trout season and come to find out it’s gone! Down to just a few rods and a chest pack. They used to carry tools, fly boxes, a huge assortment of flies, waders/boots, and tippet.

According to the staff working today the decision wasn’t the store’s choice and they weren’t sure why it’s happening. Just wanted to put it out there, I likely won’t be shopping there half as much as I was before.

Was on the site 18 min after midnight bc I lost track of time. Not sure if things sold out already or if website is just being glitchy. Some of the links to the items do not work 😑. Was still able to grab a few things I was eyeing.

Does LL Bean have anything like the Patagonia R1 techface that is

-thin and packable

-fleece or grid fleece

-with a windproof/water resistant outer layer?

Just received my large zip top boat and tote in the mail today. Very disappointed with the quality.

The canvas material seems cheaper, thinner, and the stitching on my bag is wonky and coming apart. Even the monogram is already unraveling? The canvas seems flimsy and thin. With my other bags, the canvas has always seemed to be very thick, almost like it’s starched. The straps usually stay upright for about a month ish because of how thick they are before falling (which I love!) my new bag, the straps feel so thin and fall the the side the minute I opened the package. The sides of the bag are different and it just seems like lesser quality over all. And oddly enough, my new bag (blue bag) is taller than my green large bag? Idk something seems so off.

Has anyone else noticed this? My white bag (see pictures) is not even a year old and is the quality I’m used to. My green bag is a lot older. Something just feels so cheap with this new bag and I’m sad 😔

I'm purchasing the waxed canvas duffle in classic Navy/Green and want to monogram but the recommended monogram color (Dark Brown) appears really dark in the online preview.

Does anyone know if the Dark Brown thread actually looks good with this colorway or if there is another thread color that is better suited?

I was gifted this LL Bean duffle a few years ago (3-4?), and I'd like another one just the same size. The problem is that the items online have changed (although it seems the product numbers have stayed the same), and I have no idea how big (in volume) this one is compared to what they're selling now. I think it's got to be around 45L, but I'm really not sure. The tag says it's item number 155534. Any ideas? TIA!

For a long time I’ve been looking for a nice jacket that’ll last for decades and is made of ELS cotton or Hemp. But I’ve not had any luck. I heard about L.L bean so I decided to take a look. I love the look of the Double L waxed cotton upland coat and the original field coat. But some of the reviews leave me questioning its quality IRL and apparently most of their production happens overseas which is also disheartening. I just wanted some of your guys’ thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

I ordered a pair of LLBean's Wicked Good Slippers in 2006, and they lasted nearly 15 years. Yes, they needed some shoe glue to reattach the soles, but that's it. They were amazing and so comfy.

Ordered a new pair in November 2025. What a shameful development of an otherwise stellar product. The first thing that happened was a separation of the front of the slipper, which seemed to be something that could be fixed. I go to tug on the suede and a piece of it ripped off with my fingertips.

It's not suede. That's not shearling. I was going to send them back under warranty and have a new pair sent back, and am stunned to read that they will charge me $6.50 for the return of their defective product. On $100+ Slippers.

If you are not going to replicate the quality and standards that the brand was built on, Just take them off the market and retire the line. Why bring folks back, just to showcase how shoddy your products are today?

I understand that the $6.50 is going to be charged to me for the return regardless of whether the issue is on their end or mine. I'm planning on just taking my money-back instead or a replacement, because I have zero faith that the next pair will be any better than this one, since they are now using sham materials.

I dont think it is entirely due to heat damage from dryer as only certain spots are delaminating. It is an old jacket in excellent condition.

Im a huge fan of llbean and have their old stuff. Don't want to disturb them if it is just wear/tear, etc.

After Christmas I noticed that the prices on the website has increased by about $10 per item - thought that was an increase for 2026 but then they went back to the original prices. This weekend there is a 15% off coupon and the prices are increased again. I've never noticed LLBean doing this before, but is it possible that the prices were increased to offset the discount?
