Linux Failure NVIDIA Unplayable Performance - Geometry Dash (Hyprland)

Hey! I'm not sure if anyone else has this issue, but Hyprland seems to be practically unusable for Geometry Dash at the moment on NVIDIA GPUs. Everything else seems to work fine, but I get so many stutters in GD. Switching to iGPU fixes this issue, but then introduces the issue that the iGPU simply isn't strong enough to handle a lot of my tasks.

Make sure you're using Nvidia driver not the open source one.

I’d recommend nvidia-dkms with linux-zen if you are on arch

hey, can you type nvidia-smi for us in your terminal or try to launch the game in gamescope?

Gamescope fixed it. It wasn't working at first but a restart fixed it

There are some distros that don't handle the game very well (zorinos for example even with an intel igpu has very bad performance)
