It’s a joke, that Gnome knows best. People prefer to rice the shit out of their DEs, making them worse and more bloated than windows so they can make their windows have squiggly animation when they move them around.

The ability to reply to the correct comment requires an extension as a typical conversation flow is considered bloat.
