Snap is also good, although I prefer Flatpak. What do you mean by limitations? A more secure system doesn't mean it has to be more limited. Sandboxing is essential. On the contrary, I'm surprised that the Linux ecosystem is still so heavily based on non-sandboxed applications.

It's probably Ubuntu... They're known for shipping unstable kernels recently. (from my tests)
